Kym Whitley From “Raising Whitley” ON The Oprah Winfrey Network

    in Entertainment

The Total Tutor Neil Haley will interview Kym Whitley From “Raising Whitley”  ON The Oprah Winfrey Network

    About “Raising Whitley”:

“Raising Whitley" is a humorous, poignant docu-series following actress and comedienne Kym Whitley and her riotous collective of friends – whom she calls "The Village” – as they attempt to do something none of them have ever done before: raise a child…together. The Village bands together to help Kym bring up Joshua the best they know how, but sometimes it's hard to tell who is more mature – Joshua or the adults tasked with raising him.

Forest Whitaker on Oprah Winfrey: ‘She Trusted Me as an Artist’

    in Entertainment

Forest Whitaker is synonymous with versatility. For more than three decades, the 6’2”, 250-pound actor has been playing characters that ranged from jocks to jazz icons, cops to psychopathic bandits. But in each case, he’s brought a mix of strength and delicacy to the role that would be nearly impossible to come by in any other performer. Oh, and add appreciative of his colleague’s support to that list. “She invited me to dinner when I was doing The Last King of Scotland,” he tells us of Oprah Winfrey, his co-star in Lee Daniel’s The Butler. “I got to know her from there slowly. But working with her on the film, she was so committed. She helped bring our relationship closer together because she’d be right by my side. She’d be holding my hand and rub my back when I was getting ready in the trailer. She said she trusted me as an artist. And the work she was doing was so strong.”

Are You Smarter Than Your Pastor : Gospel of Oprah

    in Religion

In these difficult days and times we often look to spiritual leaders for guidance and instruction in our lives. As Christians (followers of Christ) should these leaders speak from their mind, or from what is written based on the word of God? This show will examine things said by men and woman claiming to be Gods ministers to reveal whether or not they are speaking Gods word and doing his will. 1Pet 4: 11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.We hope you tune in and listen to our show. We air programs on Blog Talk Radio at the following times: Sun 2:00pm, Tue 8:00pm, Wed 7:00pm, Fri 7:00pm & Sat 9:00am all eastern time.
