There seems to be a New era or definition of the word opportunity, my basic understanding is opportunities is a chance to advance or further ones career or life ! The perception now in busineess opportunities is, you pay me for a service and what you make of it is your own payday ? How is that opportunity ? That example is just a business investment of one person getting paid by you up front and you have to rely on your own ! Opportunity to me is hey we want to invest in you or your company, we believe in you so we will put up the resources first and you put in the work and we can all get paid at the same time ? May be I from a different generation or out of the loop but back in the day if some one was really interested they would pay you up front !

Jeri started her agency 2 years ago after working in the advertising field for 7 years at one of the world’s largest agencies. She began her own agency after hearing from clients how much they enjoyed working with her, but hated the company she worked for.
Suzanne Karger is a 17 year Manhattan Beach resident who is passionate about living in such a wonderful community and doing what she can to keep it that way. Since retiring from a career in the fashion industry Suzanne has been working part-time at Hush Hush Hair Salon, volunteering her services to a number of local non-profit fundraisers and working as a hands on volunteer at UCLA-Santa Monica Hospital.
Liz Griggs manages Manhattan Village Shopping Center in Manhattan Beach. She is a shopping center expert that has made a career out of marketing and managing a diverse set of retail properties in varied markets throughout the United States.
All three of our guests are active members of the Manhattan Beach Chamber and this morning, we’re going to learn about the various Chamber Committee opportunities that members can get involved in.
