Let's talk...God is not Religious - The Person of the Holy Spirit - Part 11

    in Christianity

Participants are encouraged to present their spiritual questions, queries and struggles, whereby the host will attempt with the aid of scripture and the Holy Spirit's inspiration to provide adequate instruction, correction, inspiration and encouragement.  Comments and exhortation may also be solicited from the other participants within the bounds of relevance and congeniality.  The overall objective will be to create a liberated atmosphere where people feel free and comfortable to share their concerns and get their longtime, internalized questions at the least addressed and ideally answered.  This format is being employed to stir discussion and participation amongst God’s people and counter the current spectator, one-way monologue program that is being practiced in most contemporary church worship services today.  The goal being to allow the Holy Spirit the freedom, time and interaction to bring knowledge, wisdom, healing and support to the members of Christ’s body, for one another and by one another.  As well as, inviting outside seekers of truth into a non-intimidating, non-traditionally religious setting of dialogue, where they can pose their questions without fear of judgment and openness and acceptance in a spirit of love and mutual engagement.  Join us as we pierce through the darkness & cut our way through the murky waters of what Christianity has become today, so as to find the freedom that Christ intended us to have, in the same way he taught & shared when he walked & lived life among the people. What was the Act's Church & were we meant depart from it into what Church has become today. And if we have, how did we get there? Join us as we unravel these questions & tackle many more which has made Christianity into what it is today.ian faith.

Take Back Your Life: The Power of Lament

    in Motivation

Sometimes life hits us so hard, we feel that it is just too much. How do we get our bearings and carry on? The church, embarrassed by the openness of its sentiment, often overlooks lament and its role in our lives. However, the Book of Psalms and the Book of Lamentations have much to teach us about the power of lament as a source for healing, wholeness, and restoration, even in the worst of times. Join Dr. Alfie for some honest discussion of power of lament and how it can help us take back our lives.

Why is the Past so Important/ Update on global shift

    in Spirituality

We are going to do two seperate topics this evening. The first segment is on the past and why we do not release it. The second half of the show is an update on the Prophecied Global Shift? Listen live as Steven discusses the flasehoods of the past and the delimma in bringing it into the present. An example is seeing someone as they were not as they are we? We bind them to yesterday as well as our self. Where is the growth in doing this? Where is the expansion in living in this manner? The second part is the shifting world! Where are we? Why is there so much of an increase in geologic activity and in magnitude? This and so much more. Join Steven Hairfield an American Monk live and let's talk, Shanti.

Take Back Your Life: The Power of Forgiveness

    in Motivation

Forgiveness clears a path that makes it possible for us to approach life with an openness of heart and mind. It clears and opens our mental/emotional/spiritual pathways. Tosha Silver Replay, Outgrageous Openness, Thursday, 930pm EST

    in Spirituality

Replay this Thursday, part two interview with Tosha Silver Dec 12.

Our guest for this Thursday is Tosha Silver, the first show was so great we asked her back to talk more about what she has learned.

On the show, she will talk about her book–  Outrageous Openness: Letting the Divine Take the Lead

A compilation of funny, irreverently reverent stories on aligning with the Divine in daily life. For the passionately spiritual and bemusedly skeptical alike. Adapted from a popular column originally published as San Francisco’s Spiritual Examiner at examiner.com. “What if God IS the story? What if the Divine is constantly igniting roadside flares to get our attention? What if there actually IS a Supreme Organizing Principle with a ribald and unbridled sense of humor? And what if we each have this ardent inner suitor who’s writing us love letters every day that often go unopened?” What if indeed? Read on. Author Bio: Tosha Silver grew up thinking one day she would be a rabbi, a lawyer or a weathergirl. But fate had other ideas.
