Raised in NYC by soap opera stars, John and Sandy Gabriel, Andrea began extensive theatrical training at an early age. She appeared onstage alongside Oscar and Tony award winning actor, F. Murray Abraham, and originated the female lead in world premiere of "The Dog Problem," written by Tony winner David Rabe and directed by Scott Ellis.
Andrea starred in the television sensation LOST, where she played Nadia, one of four recurring characters to appear in all 6 seasons of the series. Other television credits include Criminal Minds, Just Legal, Strong Medicine, House, M.D., The Whole Truth, JAG, Franklin and Bash, and In the recurring role of Amira on season six of Gossip Girl. She made her film debut in the fully improvised comedy, Hyper, co-starring Dan Fogler, and brought to life the the role of Kebi, vampire and member of the Egyptian Coven in the final installment of the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn Part 2.
Andrea's passions include, animals, working with children, the environment, cooking, painting, sketching and dancing. She is a self taught guitarist and pianist, and enjoys singing and song writing. She recently recorded several original songs, including her first single, "Clever Girl," and executive produced, conceptualized, starred in, and edited her first music video around it.
Amy Thielen is a chef, writer, and television personality who trains her focus on the particulars of Midwestern cooking and eating. She is the author of The New Midwestern Table (Clarkson Potter, 2013), the host of Heartland Table on Food Network, and is a James Beard Award-winning food writer. She lived in New York City for 9 years, where she cooked professionally in the kitchens of chefs David Bouley, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Daniel Boulud, and Shea Gallante. In 2008 she, along with her husband, artist Aaron Spangler, and their son, moved back home to their place in the country in northern Minnesota. Award-winning actress Montego Glover is currently recurring on the hit Fox show “The Following,” as well as “Hostages” (CBS). Glover last starred on Broadway as Felicia Farrell in the Broadway musical, “Memphis” (Tony winner Best Musical) for which she received a Tony Award Nomination for Lead Actress in a Musical as well as a Drama League Nomination and won both the Outer Critics Circle Award and the Drama Desk Award for her performance.
A graduate of Florida State University with a BFA in Music Theater, Ms. Glover made her Broadway debut in the roles of Celie and Nettie in “The Color Purple.” She has been privileged to travel around the country performing at the Geffen Playhouse, La Jolla Playhouse, Seattle’s 5th Ave Theatre, The Huntington Theater and Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, among many others. Favorite roles include Sarah in “Ragtime,” Lorrell in “Dreamgirls,” Hermia in “A Midsummer's Night Dream,” Aida in “Aida,” for which she won an IRNE Award for Best Actress in a Musical and TiMoune in “Once on this Island,” for which she received a Helen Hayes Award Nomination. Ms. Glover has also enjoyed concert work around the country and in New York. Her credits include: the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, and the prestigious Smith Center in Las Vegas. She has appeared on television in: “The Following,” “Hostages,” “Smash,” “Golden Boy,” “The Good Wife,” “Hostages,” “NYC 22,” “Law and Order,” and “Made in Jersey.” Commercial Campaigns include: Charmin, Subway, Verizon, Wishbone, Nickelodeon and McDonald’s.
