The Road to Enlightenment, with Kellie Fitzgerald and Olivia Whiteman

    in Goals

My guest today is the Take Action Avenger (a.k.a Olivia Whiteman)

Olivia believes if you want to achieve something you have to set goals, stay focus and be in action.  Whether working in a college or a corporate setting, although the environment may be different, the essence of getting what you want, still requires doing all you can with all that you’ve got.

Olivia has been a student of personal development for her whole life.  She has used what she knows to make a difference in her own life and in the life of many, many others.

There is not a week that goes by without someone contacting Olivia to say, ‘because of you I got an opportunity in….’  The circumstances vary but it always leaves Olivia feeling like dancing in the street.  The joy of knowing that her commitment to wanting to impact as many lives as possible, to have the life they want and deserve, is paying off for people and allowing her to have a career as a personal development coach is something she is daily grateful for.

Olivia has worked with many people who have started but due to time constraints, anxiety, stress, and/or other  blocks (some known and others hidden from their view) and can say without hesitation that all the individuals who allow her to guide them, have success.

    As always, thanks for listening!

  • Quiet Comedy: Espisode 2: Olivia Grace

    in Comedy

Olivia Grace: For lack of a better word, Olivia is one of my favorite LA comics. Her writing is always from an honest play. She was amazing when she started comedy at 16 and has only gotten better. She will also be battling last week's guest at the Comedy Store in an LA Roast Battle to end all roast battles coming up in a few weeks,

Quiet Comedy: From the wesbite shayne-michael.com, to the Facebook Group Comedians Wanted - No Bringers, we had a history of discussing the state of comedy and how to improve on our craft. This will be a half hour weekly podcast/ call in show where we talk over the business of comedy, current events and our comedy careers with some of the best up and coming comics on the scene today. Nothing will be scripted; and hopefully comics will find themselves building somewhat of a fan base as we talk.

    Interview with Olivia Frances

    in Music

OLIVIA FRANCES is an old soul wrapped inside the effervescent free spirit of an 18-year-old girl. This talented singer-songwriter originally from Cincinnati, OH and now based in Nashville began her musical journey at a young age – her first performance was a duet with a friend during an elementary school talent show. Her pursuit of the spotlight was set in motion in 7th Grade when Olivia had her first solo at the school’s Winter Concert. It was a moment that remains vividly in her mind; as she stepped up to the microphone, away from the choir and sang her first solo, Olivia knew in that instant that being on stage was where she belonged.

She started studying music in earnest after that; with piano at age six and by the time she was 12, her love of guitar and songwriting came to the forefront. Olivia continues to hone her musical talents and took the step of moving to Nashville on her own after graduating high school. After joining the prestigious Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) at age 12, her move to Nashville enabled Olivia to become more active and attend more NSAI events. Her days are spent perfecting her music, while at the same time learning as much as she can about the music business as an intern with a record label. The valuable experience and connections she makes have allowed Olivia to play at such well-respected venues as The Commodore Grille and The Bluebird.

All in all, this is only the beginning for the vivacious young girl who grew up in Cincinnati with no musical influence in her family. Olivia’s mother is a writer and her father runs their family business. Their love and support have shaped Olivia into the hard working, always curious young woman she is today. Olivia is planning an exciting new project in 2015 and continues to pursue her dreams while writing and making music in the Music City.

OLIVIA LEE: DIRTY SEXY FUNNY OPENING ACT

    in Entertainment

Olivia Lee is one of Britain’s fastest-rising female comedy stars. She’s glamorous, sexy, mischievous and armed with razor-sharp wit. After training at The Central School of Speech and Drama, Olivia kick-started her career on the popular BBC children’s sitcom, "The Basil Brush Show," playing the Brush’s girlfriend and she hasn’t looked back since (for fear that he's following her).
Olivia's big break came in the comedy show "Balls of Steel" with her own slot called "Prank TV with Miss Lee," where she demonstrated her fearlessness and ability to boldly go where many others would not dare. Off the back of this success she was offered to write and star in her own comedy vehicle, "Olivia Lee’s Naughty Bits," which premiered in 2008. This led to her own series, "Olivia Lee: Dirty, Sexy, Funny" – a showcase for Olivia’s comic characters which launched "Comedy Central UK." The first series of "Dirty Sexy Funny" aired in 2010, and proved to be a hit, leading to an even more audacious second series which premiered in April 2011 on Comedy Central. The USA soon came calling and Olivia was recently invited to regularly appear on NBC’s "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno," where she can now been seen providing her own brand of outrageous comedy. She has also hosted the comedy game show Battle of the Bods which ran for 3 season on the FOX network in the US. Olivia will now be seen in Nigel Lythgoe's “Opening Act,” on E!, where Olivia, as the host, gives undiscovered aspiring music artists the chance of a lifetime – to be the opening act for their favorite performer. Its going to be big! “Opening Act” premieres July 9th. http://www.eonline.com/shows/opening_act
