Truf Bros. Radio Special Presentation: Officer Nightstick "I Can't Breathe"

    in Entertainment

As another grand jury fails to indict it leaves us wondering is there a such thing as justice in America for those of us with brown skin. Many argue that we are living in a post racial society, where racism ceases to exist; but how can that be when another unarmed black man is tragically murder by those who are suppose to serve and protect. Those who have hidden behind their badges when they are videotape doing wrong. Eric Garner is just another example of how flawed and unjust the American judicial system is when it comes to facilitating justice for minorities. Please join Ray and Devon in this special presentation of Truf Bros. Radio as they welcome very special guests Toni Breedlove, Theo Brooks, Ramone Garrett, and Sam Lee as they discuss police brutality and minority injustice as Truf Bros Radio proudly presents our special presentation

New York grand jury decides not to indict police officer in chokehold death

    in News

A New York grand jury Wednesday opted not to indict a white policeman in the killing of Eric Garner, an unarmed black man whose last words — “I can’t breathe” — became a rallying cry for protesters who blamed his death on racial profiling and police abuse.

The decision, coming nine days after a Missouri grand jury declined to charge a white officer in the death of Michael Brown, drew swift reactions that reflected the passions that have increasingly surrounded such cases across the country.

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, Gov. Andrew Cuomo and other officials, anxious to avoid the violence that erupted in Ferguson after Officer Darren Wilson walked free, urged calm as activists called for demonstrators to converge at Times Square, Rockefeller Center and other landmarks.

De Blasio, whose wife is black, invoked their teenage son, Dante, and said his heart went out to Garner’s family.

“This is a subject that is never far from my family’s minds,” De Blasio said. “I’ve had to talk to Dante for years about the dangers he may face” and the special care he should take in his interactions with police.

President Obama said the case “speaks to the larger issues that we’ve been talking about now for the last week, the last month, the last year and, sadly, for decades, and that is the concern on the part of too many minority communities that law enforcement is not working with them and dealing with them in a fair way.”

“It’s time for us to make more progress than we’ve made,” Obama said. “I’m not interested in talk; I’m interested in action.”

AND MUCH MORE ON THIS CASE SO TUNE IN...

Sarge Says: Officer Darren Wilson Was Justified In His Shooting Of Mike Brown!

    in Current Events

Love him or hate him, Sarge is a man who fully commits to whatever he believes in yet respects your right to disagree.

Even if you are rubbed the wrong way by his logic, he is still the man that you want by your side if you're fighting a common enemy.

That being said, the conversation that I had with him on this pleasant winter night was no less an intense affair, as a matter of fact, if there was any snowfall within the sound of his voice, surely it would have melted from the intensity of his words.

Tonight ol' Sarge meant business and he wasn't about to let the masses sway him from what he felt was the undisputed TRUTH!

While we started speaking on the corrosion of the family unit in the Black community and touched on the sanctity and benefits of marriage, it wasn't too long before Sarge kicked into full gear after I asked him about his feelings on the Ferguson Missouri situation with Officer Darren Wilson and Mike Brown.

What transpired in his reaction was nothing short of a force of nature as he aggressively explained why Officer Darren Wilson was 100% correct in his shooting and killing Mike Brown the way that he did.

Sarge also challenged anyone who feels any different to indulge him with the facts and not emotion as he welcomes a thorough debate with anyone who is willing to sit down with him to convince him otherwise.

Of course at this point I felt like Don King promoting a potential mega million dollar boxing match, but since the debate is not about money, it would be a spectacle to see Sarge in the heat of a verbal battle nonetheless!

ERIC GARNER: GRAND JURY DECLINES TO INDICT NYPD OFFICER

TONIGHT 9PM- A New York City grand jury declined to indict a white police officer in the case of Eric Garner, a 43-year-old unarmed black man who died July 17 in a police chokehold.
