Joining me on the show is John Keith, former Navy Firefighter, and founder of OIF Veterans Community, a group of veterans determined to help their fellow veterans find answers to the many questions they're asking everyday. As the world prepares for the Centennial observance of the start of World War I, virtually every media outlet around the globe is preparing both coverage and content to saturate the minds of a public which has virtually no memory of the conflict. Included in this historical deluge, will be a small mountain of new books professing to have new observations and interpretations of the first great global conflict of the 20th Century. And though much of this content will be focused on interested adults, some publishers are taking the time and effort to reach out to teen and young adult audiences and introduce them to World War I through the medium of graphic books. An evolved version of comic books, graphic books provide a picture component in addition to text. Graphic books have been growing in both popularity and sophistication over the past few decades, and several publishers are going to be issuing volumes with a World War I focus in the months and years ahead.
So it is no surprise that one of of these books is going to focus on one of the most compelling personalities of the First World War: Baron Manfred von Richthofen. Known as the "Red Baron," Richthofen was the highest scoring fighter "ace" of World War I with 80 confirmed "kills" against Allied aircraft. And despite being killed during the "Michael" Offensive in 1918, remains today one of the most respected and well-known personalities of the conflict. To learn more about Manfred von Richthofen and the new graphic book which tells his story, join military historian, author and journalist John D. Gresham (@greshamj01) for Military Monday at 1 p.m. Eastern. His guest this week is Zenith Press (@Zenith_Press) author and illustrator Wayne Vansant, the creator of the new graphic book THE RED BARON. So tune in for an hour on the history of World War I, and the story of the Red Baron.

U.S. military forces were ill-prepared for waging war in Iraq and Afghanistan at the dawn of the 21st century. Military leaders quickly realized that U.S. soldiers on the ground needed knowledge of the people’s culture in order to win the war. Military leaders turned to anthropologists from around the U.S. to provide them with the expertise to implement a program that will equip soldiers in the field to win the hearts and minds of the people in the combat areas. Thus, a new field of warfare was born: Cutlure Centric Warfare. Today, we will discuss how the military used Anthropologists to solve this problem and its implications in future military campaigns.

Before, it was Bush with No Child Left Behind; now, it is Obama with Race to the Top.

President Obama on is really becoming an embarrassment has demonstrated recently with his comments regarding the Malaysia Airlines flight 17 which was shot down near the Russia-Ukraine border.
In his speech on July 17, he comments that "this may be a terrible tragedy…" And spends a whopping 40 seconds commenting on this issue and then skips for word into MC mode and continues on with his day which includes two Democrat fundraisers.

President Obama’s staff clearly recognizes the dangerous territory into which the president’s numbers have fallen. His job approval has sagged badly in recent weeks. For the first time in his presidency, Obama’s personal favorability has turned negative in several different polls at the same time — including in recent surveys from Bloomberg, Gallup, and CNN. When a president finds his favorability numbers under pressure, he will often go out of his way to be seen doing “regular guy” kinds of things to avoid a perception that he’s out of touch. Not going to the border with Gov Rick Perry was not one of those photo op moments, which Obama's life of full of, if it is for Campaigning or the like for a left winger, while the world is exploding.
