Joy is very honored to have tonight's very special guest Scarlett Lewis.
December 14, 2012, Scarlett Lewis experienced something that no parent ever should: she lost her son Jesse in an act of unimaginable violence. The day started just like any other, but when a gunman opened fire at Sandy Hook Elementary School, Scarlett’s life changed forever. But this isn’t a story about a massacre. It’s a story about love and survival. It’s about how to face the impossible, how to find courage when you think you have none, and how to choose love instead of anger, fear, or hatred.
Following Jesse’s death, Scarlett went on an unexpected journey, inspired by a simple three-word message he had scrawled on a chalkboard in their home: nurturing healing love. It was as if he knew just what his family would need to go on after this terrible event. Bolstered by his note, Scarlett took her first step toward a new life. And with each step, it became more clear how true Jesse’s message was. She learned that love was indeed the essential element necessary to move forward and that taking the path of love is a choice. You can live in anger and resentment, or you can choose love and forgiveness.
With her decision made, she found some peace and began to believe that choosing love was the key to creating a healthy, safe, and happy world. And so she began the Jesse Lewis Choose Love Foundation to create a curriculum to teach children about the power each of us has to change our thoughts and choose a life without fear and hate.
Nurturing Healing Love is Scarlett’s story of how choosing love is changing her life—and how it could change our world.

What is an Environment of Support? How would an environment of support help me? What if I am stuck in the environment I am in and it does not support me? How do I get people in my environment to support me? Where do I start? These are some of the questions that came to Jen of Everyday Joy last week after the show A ‘Why’ Stronger Than Any No where Jen shared the importance in creating an Environment that supported the planning of the funeral for her daughter’s family. Today

Thank you for your Support. The way I see it there a many different styles of entrepreneurs and many kinds of entrepreneurs. I’ll be use two for this week’s subject that is the 100% my business is my only support entrepreneurs and the “I have a business on the side but still keep my day job” entrepreneurs as we learn last Monday with Roderick Jefferson.
The 100% die hard my business is my only financial support entrepreneur is 110% driven because they are hungry they are the ones that create, motivate and build. Now this doesn’t mean the 50/50 entrepreneur is not driven it just means they have a different path to get there. They are more secure and patient they don’t mind building slowly because they are not as hungry because they have another means of a steady income coming in their households so if one doesn’t come thru 100% they know they can still survive.
We will briefly look at the difference between the two and ask our guest what is there opinion.
This Monday's Guest Showtime starts at 3:00pm EST:
