Brother Nuri is known for his powerful messages full of inspirational information that can be practically applied. His gifts have given him a magnetic appeal, from the “streets to the suites” and a special affinity with the youth. He inspires and mobilizes all over the country, speaking in high schools, colleges, prisons, churches, mosques and community centers. His work of helping The Hon. Min. Louis Farrakhan, inspired his teacher to give him the name ‘Nuri’ which comes from the attribute of Allah(God) Al-Nur, meaning “The Light.” With anticipation, steely determination and focus by activists, organizers and Nation of Islam Believers around the country—led by the tireless work and unceasing travel, vision and determination of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan—mobilizing for “Justice Or Else!”, the 20th anniversary of the Million Man March, was intense. Plans for the gathering started after an April announcement by Min. Farrakhan that it was time to return to Washington, D.C. Yet in a few months, with no corporate sponsors, no huge national political backers, few establishment endorsements, and no mainstream media help, the U.S. Capitol and down the National Mall Oct. 10 were filled with throngs of people. They were drawn by a call to stand against pervasive racism and injustice with the invitation extended to Native Americans, Latinos, veterans and women to stand against oppression. Urban News Service put the number at hundreds of thousands and some estimated a million people and upwards. With substantial construction underway on the National Mall there was spillover onto side streets. It was an incredible gathering that was peaceful, loving and the beginning of a movement. . Now on the ground work begins and people are eager to get started. Join the movement at www.justiceorelse.com.

Nicholas Snow welcomes writer, director, cinematographer and editor Amir Jaffer with producer Liz Grillo of the short film Mi Vida En El Baile / My Life in Dance. The synopsis: At ninety Miguel Santos continues to share his love of Flamenco on stage and in workshops in San Francisco. In this short biopic, Miguel traces his artistic journey and shares events of his life that took him across the United States and to Spain, where he learned from the legends of Flamenco.
Amir began "exploring the world of filmmaking with his father’s video camera at the age of thirteen. He realized his childhood dream when he began working as an Independent Producer in San Francisco in 2005. His earlier work focused more on content and subject matter than on a particular visual style. Influenced by filmmakers Rainer Ferner Fasbinder, Pedro Almodovar and Deepa Mehta, Amir focused on social issues that intrigued him and which ranged from gender identity to domestic violence to sexuality."

We are meeting with Amir Asor, CEO and founder E2 Young Engineers. E2 Young Engineers enrichment programs adopt a rational edutainment (the combination of education and entertainment) approach. E2 Young Engineers have developed a variety of different programs that can be used to teach the most important subjects. Children joining their educational community can learn and enjoy the likes of arithmetic, physics, and mechanical and software engineering. E2 Young Engineers have developed special programs and workshops suited to children at both ends of the learning spectrum, from gifted children to those with learning disabilities. Unlike traditional teaching methods, our use of stories, experiments and demonstrations ensures that all children joining our enrichment programs will learn while they have fun. In fact, they’ll have so much fun they may not even realize they’re learning.

Hr3 What is wrong with the Obama Administration? We still have a US Marine, Amir Mirza Hekmati, imprisoned in Iran for the crime of simply being a US Marine! John Kerry blew it. A hostage release should have been negotiated before the Iran deal. Now what do we have to trade? #FreeAmirNow
