Luke 8:43-48King James Version (KJV)
43 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,
44 Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.
45 And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.
47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.
48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.
Matthew 13:1-3 KJV
 The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.  And great multitudes were gathered together unto Him, so that He went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.  And He spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;
Now we've all heard of The Sermon on the Mount, well this could be called The Sermon by the Sea.
This week provided The LORD's willing we will begin a seven part series into the 7 parables of Jesus contained in Matthew 13
First we will look at why Jesus spoke in parables and discover that there was a method, mystery and motive to His preaching in parables.
And then we will dive into the first of the seven: The Sower.
Now a parable has a mystery in it, and a mystery is a hidden truth that is never grasped with human wisdom.
So the truth is that you will never know these things that you need to know until you lay your intellectual pride in the dust and say, “Oh God, teach me.”
So be sure to tune in to learn that to be an effective sower there must be the right word, the right witness and the right welcome to the gospel of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.
I would like to take this hour to provide my opinion of the Presidential Debates. Thinking Americans, and there are a few, would not waste their valuable time trying to decide whether Twittly Dee or Twittily Dum is the better of the multitude of unqualified presidential hopefuls. I know that I sound negative, that's because I am, but the frustration of watching even college educated citizens getting excited about some of the most unqualified characters with harmful agendas is more than I can take. Listen in and call in with your view 646-652-4620. Look forward to hearing from you.

TWO, TWO, TWO SHOWS IN ONE!
First, we welcome the former host of Taunt Potomos Radio to comment on the crazyness known as the internet and how it does or does not fit with reality. Of course, reality being a moving target for some. Despite being offline for some time, the madness never stops. Pass the butthurt cream to the talky talkers and hyper loons. This will be the foundation for what will be an occasional Sunday 1 hour program coming *soon* - Church of the Hidden Reality with Friar Glen and Father Mike. Did U see wat I did thar? Of course, calls from allies are highly encouraged.
Second, there has been a multitude of modern musical icons who have left this earth in the past 90 days. Unfortunately, we never got to the second show. This will happen in the near future, maybe on an alternate night.
No Canadian politics tonight, an explicit rating and a reminder that all good things must pass. Join us for two shows in one.
James 5:12, 15, 19-20 But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your “Yes” be “Yes,” and your “No,” “No,” lest you fall into judgment. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.
I saw the Father rise from the throne, [SEE PAGE 92.] and in a flaming chariot go into the holy of holies within the veil, and sit down. Then Jesus rose up from the throne, and the most of those who were bowed down arose with Him. I did not see one ray of light pass from Jesus to the careless multitude after He arose, and they were left in perfect darkness. Those who arose when Jesus did, kept their eyes fixed on Him as He left the throne and led them out a little way. Then He raised His right arm, and we heard His lovely voice saying, “Wait here; I am going to My Father to receive the kingdom; keep your garments spotless, and in a little while I will return from the wedding and receive you to Myself.” Then a cloudy chariot, with wheels like flaming fire, surrounded by angels, came to where Jesus was. He stepped into the chariot and was borne to the holiest, where the Father sat. There I beheld Jesus, a great High Priest, standing before the Father. On the hem of His garment was a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate. Those who rose up with Jesus would send up their faith to Him in the holiest, and pray, “My Father, give us Thy Spirit.” Then Jesus would breathe upon them the Holy Ghost. In that breath was light, power, and much love, joy, and peace. Early Writings Of Ellen G. White 32 I turned to look at the company who were still bowed before the throne; they did not know that Jesus had left it. Satan appeared to be by the throne, trying to carry on the work of God. I saw them look up to the throne, and pray, “Father, give us Thy Spirit.” Satan would then breathe upon them an unholy influence; in it there was light and much power, but no sweet love, joy, and peace. Satan’s object was to keep them deceived and to draw back and deceive God’s children.
look at the tremendous power that can come into our lives if we learn how to praise God in all situations.
In Psalm 50:23, we read, "The one who offers a sacrifice of thanksgiving honours Me, says the Lord, and makes a way for Me to show him My deliverance. Now what does that mean? It means that if you are in a tight spot right now, and you want God to deliver you from it, you have to make a way for God to show you that deliverance; for God to bring that deliverance. God will do the deliverance, but He cannot do that until you open a way for it and the way we open the way is by praising the Lord.
When King Jehoshaphat was surrounded by such a great multitude of enemies, he called the whole nation of Judah too seek God in fasting and prayer. That was absolutely a proper thing to do.
They prayed to God and, in their prayer, they acknowledged three things. You know what they said to God? They acknowledged their helplessness, they acknowledged their foolishness, and then they acknowledged their faith (2 Chr. 20:12). Now these are the three things we need to acknowledge too. It is easy to acknowledge our helplessness and our foolishness, to say, 'Well Lord, we have got no strength against this situation and we don't know what to do.' We can say that in all situations, but nothing happens, if you stop there. You got go on and say, 'Lord we believe that you will answer us.'
Jehoshaphat prayed, in 2 Chronicles 20:6-12. This is a pattern for prayer, something that we can learn from Jehoshaphat. Notice the seven things he prayed for. First of all, he praised God for His Sovereignty (verse 6). He said, 'Lord you are the ruler over all the kingdoms of the nations; power and might are in your hand, no one can stand against you.' You know when we pray to God, it is good to remind ourselves, first of all, of the sovereignty of God.
