Today's guest is Cory Williams a writer/actor currently living and working in Los Angeles, California and seeking to spread the good word about my work. As a Boomer Having moved from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Los Angeles, California- the entertainment Mecca of the country- to be an actor, one could say that from one job to the next, He is still continuously pursuing the dream, one that is about the journey, not necessarily the destination. In the process of pursuing the dream, he's become a published novelist. As a writer, his primary genre of choice is science fiction. He always believed that one of the most powerful questions posed in any language is “What if…?” As such, science fiction- being the mythology of the modern age- is the perfect playground in which to allow his active and fertile imagination to run free. He currently has four novels published and on the market, available in print-to-order trade paperback and downloadable e-book format.

Michaelbrent Collings is an internationally bestselling novelist, a #1 bestseller in the U.S., and has been one of Amazon's top selling horror writers for years. He is one of the most successful indie horror writers in the United States, as well as a produced screenwriter and member of the WGA, HWA, and several other writing groups with cool-sounding letters. He's also a martial artist, and cooks awesome waffles ('cause he's macho like that).
He published his first "paying" work - a short story for a local paper - at the age of 15. He won numerous awards and scholarships for creative writing while at college, and subsequently became the person who had more screenplays advance to quarterfinals and semifinals in the prestigious Nicholl Fellowship screenwriting competition in a single year than anyone else in the history of the competition.
His first produced script, Barricade, was made into a movie starring Eric McCormack of TV's Will & Grace and Perception, and was released in 2012. Michaelbrent also wrote the screenplay for Darkroom (2013), starring Kaylee DeFer (Gossip Girl, Red State) and Elisabeth Rohm (American Hustle, Law & Order, Heroes).
As a novelist, Michaelbrent has written enough bestsellers that listing them seems weird, especially since they're already listed elsewhere on the website. In addition, he has also written dozens of non-fiction articles which have appeared in periodicals on several continents.
Michaelbrent is also a member of the WGA (Writers Guild of America) and the HWA (Horror Writers of America). In addition to selling, optioning, and doing rewrites on screenplays for major Hollywood production companies, he is currently developing several movies and television shows.
From living a nightmare, to building a dream. Graphic Novelist J.C.S. may only be 27 years old but she has come a long way. Abused as a child, and seemingly lost as a teen, she has turned her scraps into diamonds. So far, she has written six novels, has published five of those novels, and as also finished a trilogy known as Anguished Immortals.
She will tell you, her goal was this: to publish and take care of her family. Her first attempt to write a novel came at the age of 15, and in between ten years, she tried and failed.
Growing up in Denver, Colorado, it was realized (and said) countless times that opportunity in the workforce was greater and more stable than most states, especially for a woman. But having Systemic Lupus and two children only ten and a half months apart changed everything.
Early 2012, inspiration came as J.C.S. decided to write her first romance novel. Even though it was a completed work, she saw that it wasn't yielding light on her talent. After doing a little research on the Archangel of Death and the Greek Goddess of War, Enyo, the makings of an Epic Fantasy trilogy had just begun.
Taking her work to Authonomy and trying out the first two books, J.C.S. realized that sticking with something she loved, Epic Fantasy, did her better than trying to fit in.
In 2013 J.C.S. wrote and published the first book to Bleeding Stars and Paper Hearts: Adrianna is Mine, following the same previewing and publishing path of her previous work. The audience from Authonomy helped her decide on publishing when not only had her book gone from #599 to #31 in a week, it stayed at #7 for three weeks and #1 for two.
Novelist and Chief Ediitor for PDMI Publishing - Mr. Clay Gilbert shares his thoughts on his new book "Annah" the first in a trilogy of the series "Children of Evohe" as well as his Vampire epic "Dark Road to Paradise" and all his years of experience with hosting an author's panel at the totally awesome fan-favorite celebration known as DragonCon. Get a good transporter lock...and beam on in.
