    Notable Victories

    in Prayer

Often we can be so engrossed in battle that news of an important victory escapes us. Any victory

small or large strengthens our moral to continue to resist the evil one and the darkness he promotes.

The aspects of the warfare that that are offten manifest are those circumstances that cause human pain

and reduction of people's value by others. Obvious, GOD'S that all humans rise to HIS expectations.

However, the adversary opposes that reality. Join us for live prayer Mon.-Fri. at6:00 AM. Dial 714.459.3963.

The Career Expert Live - With Special Guest John Faye

    in Self Help

With 2 decades in the music business under his belt, Philly rock veteran John Faye has truly taken matters into his own hands: his new solo album Meddling Kid (which he is releasing a song at a time until the full record drops later in 2015) is an artistic tour-de-force on which he plays every instrument and sings every note (with the one notable exception of inviting all of his colleagues from his former band IKE to sing gang vocals on his remake of that band's signature hit "Into Philadelphia"). The lead single, "D.N.A.," is a scathing rebuke of skin-deep relationships and snap judgements in the age of Tinder and short attention spans.

John Faye has amassed an impressive musical resume dating back to his major label days fronting 90's alt-rockers The Caulfields (whose single "Devil's Diary" cracked the modern rock top-40, and whose album tracks landed on soundtracks for Disney's "The Babysitter's Club" and "Melrose Place"), to his first solo foray The John Faye Power Trip, which morphed into the aforementioned IKE (who put out 6 full-length records from 2003-2011), and his punk / garage-rock influenced duo John & Brittany, who gained notoriety on the Sirius/XM channel "Little Steven's Underground Garage" and on MTV-u with their video for their song "Paper Planes."

Now, in 2015, Faye is forging a brand new DIY path with his new record and live band, fittingly called John Faye & Those Meddling Kids! With sold out headlining shows in their home town and a coveted slot at Radio 104.5's Summer Block Party with Nate Ruess of Fun, The War On Drugs, MS MR, and Civil Twilight, John Faye is poised to bring out the Meddling Kid in everyone within earshot.

RYAN ROCKS IT! with COLEMAN R. BRICE, singer-songwriter-recording Artist

    in Radio

Ryan Rocks It! with friend Colie Brice Monday, November 23 RD at 5:30 PM.  I have known this awesome and multi talented Man for many years now.  I first heard Colie perform with Jason Lusardi aka Jay Walker, bass player.  Colie and Jay played together for many years in Colie's band "Folie Brice New Age Blues Experience".  I like this qote of Colie's,  "Experiences Compose the Symphony of Life", so true.   Colie has recorded over 30 something albums, some on mjajor labels with big budgets, others recorded at home DY style on indie labels.  Recording highlights range from three elaborately produced albums with Phantom's Opera which at on etime featured Michael Romeo (Symphony X) and later Karl Cochran of Ace Frehley (KISS) and Joe Lynn Turner's (Rainbow, Deep Purple, Yngwie Malmsteen).  Colie will tell you that he was stubbornly persistent in pursuing a big time music carer, but after tripping out at a Grateful Dead Show, he started pursuing a more personal creative direction he called the "LUNA MUSE" principle and started branding his own kind of music he loosely called New Age Blues.  To that end, in 1997, Colie's Solo debut New Age Blues was accepted in teh 40 TH Annyual Gramy Nomination  Entry List in several cataegories including Top Instrumental for "17G (Tribute to Jerry."

As a stage musician, Colie has performed at diverse venues ranging from The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, to the Roxy Theater in Hollywood, California and many points inbetween.  Colie shared the bill with an scletic variety of notable acts such as Dick Dale, Layonne Homes ( Jon Bon Jovi Solo Band), Juggling Suns, Tony Levin, Dick Manitoba, Marshall Tucker, Skid Row, Jill Sobule and Southside and the Asbury Jukes among many others.

Please go to my fb page for mor information on Colie Brice.

Black Wall Street: The Money, The Music & The People

Black Wall Street is a docu-short film which seeks to highlight the remarkable, yet forgotten story of the historic Negro neighborhood, Jackson Ward in Richmond, Virginia. Dubbed “the Black Wall Street” by economists of the early 20th Century because of its economic and financial prowess in a day and age when people of color were deemed incapable of being anything other than a waste of space, the “city within a city” was the epicenter of Negro life and entertainment boasting claim to such memorable and notable daughters and sons as Maggie L. Walker, the first Negro (black) woman to own a bank, and entertainer extraordinaire, Bill “Bojangles” Robinson. The film also seeks to highlight the value of this historic neighborhood as rich material for fiction.

NFL week 11 preview; Primetime games seem to be the must watch games this week.

    in Sports

The NFL has claimed that they want parity, and this could be as close as you are going to get. There are two undefeated teams left, the New England Patriots and the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers will put their perfect record on the line against the 4-5 Washington Redskins, who are only a half game out of first place, in the NFC East. The Patriots host the Buffalo Bills on Monday night. In the Ryan vs. Belichick series you can throw the records out and expect a hard hitting football game.

The other notable game is on Sunday night. The Cincinatti Bengals travel to Arizona. The Bengals are coming off their first loss of the season and look to rebound against the Cardinals. The Cardinals have a three game winning streak and a three game lead over the Seattle Seahawks. Carson Palmer has thrown 23 touchdowns and Chris Johnson has revived his career running the ball. The Cardinals boost the leagues number one offensive in yards per game, with 421.1. The defense is holding up their end of the bargain by ranking third, allowing only 316.1 yards per game. The Bengals defense enters the game with the number one scoring defense, only allowing 16.9 points per game.

Atlanta hosts the Colts in an intriguing game. The Colts are tied with the Texans at 4-5, for first place in the AFC South. The 6-3 Falcons are tied with the Green Bay Packers for the wildcard, in the NFC. Both teams hold a two game lead over a number of teams. The Chicago Bears have quietly won two games in a row. If they can beat the Brock Osweiler led Broncos, they would be at the .500 mark and have a legitimate shot to make a run at the playoffs. The Broncos have a three game lead over the Kansas City Chiefs. The Houston Texans have vaulted themselves back into the playoff picture, and will play the New York Jets. The Jets need to win to keep pace in the AFC wildcard race. Which games will you be watching this weekend?
