NORTH FLORIDA WRITER LIVE: #NEVER TRUMP OR #NEVER CRUZ = HILLARY, GUARANTEED

    in Lifestyle

IT'S CRUNCH TIME IN THE REPUBLICAN PARTY WITH THE TOP TWO CANDIDATES, DONALD TRUMP, THE LEADER, AND TED CRUZ, STILL COMPETITIVE, GOING AT IT HOT AND HEAVY AS IS NORMAL IN POLITICS. BUT NEVER BEFORE HAS THE ANIMOSITY BETWEEN SUPPORTERS BEEN QUITE SO INTENSE AND ACTUALLY HATEFUL. SOCIAL MEDIA IS BRIMMING WITH SARCASM AND SOMETHING FAR BEYOND SNARK, AND THE HASH TAG #NEVER WITH THE OPPOSITION ATTACHED IS EVERYWHERE.  NOW I'VE LOST SOCIAL MEDIA "FRIENDS" OVER THIS SINCE I FAVOR TRUMP BUT HAVE MADE IT CLEAR THAT IF CRUZ IS THE WINNER I'LL SUPPORT HIM WHOLEHEARTEDLY. UNFORTUNATELY, IT APPEARS THAT MILLIONS OUT THERE AREN'T WILLING TO FORGIVE AND FORGET WHEN THE BATTLE IS DONE AND IF THAT PLAYS OUT WE'LL BE GUARANTEED THE ELECTION OF HILLARY CLINTON, AN IDEOLOGUE WHO COULD VERY WELL PROVE TO BE MUCH MORE DAMAGING TO THE COUNTRY THAN OUR CURRENT PRESIDENT.  AND THE REPUBLICAN ESTABLISHMENT, THE ONES WHO CREATED THE CURRENT PROBLEM IN THE FIRST PLACE, WOULD LIKELY BE PLEASED IF HILLARY IS ELECTED OVER EITHER TRUMP OR CRUZ. THEY, AFTER ALL, HAVE SHOWN REPEATEDLY THAT THE ONLY THING OF IMPORTANCE TO THE THEM IS MAINTAINING THEIR POSITIONS IN WASHINGTON.

WE'LL TALK ABOUT THE CURRENT STATE OF REPUBLICAN AFFAIRS TOMORROW EVENING ON NORTH FLORIDA WRITER LIVE AND I'M SURE THERE ARE THOSE WHO WILL NOT CHANGE THEIR POSITION BUT I'M HOPING ENOUGH WILL TO AVOID A TOTAL CATASTROPHE TO THIS GREAT LAND. I TRULY BELIEVE THAT IF HILLARY IS ELECTED, THE CONCEPT OF FREEDOM UNDER A CONSTITUTION IS GONE.  I DON'T THINK WE'LL GET ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY. SO VIGOROUS SUPPORT OF YOUR CANDIDATE IS HEALTHY, BUT WHEN IT'S SAID AND DONE IF THE NATION SLIPS INTO FOUR MORE YEARS, WE'LL ONLY HAVE OURSELVES TO BLAME IF WE CAN'T PULL THINGS TOGETHER.  I HOPE YOU'LL LISTEN IN AND GOD BLESS AMERICA.

NORTH FLORIDA WRITER LIVE: IS IT THE "TRUMP TRAIN" VS THE CRUZ-KASICH CABAL?

    in Lifestyle

THURSDAY ON NORTH FLORIDA WRITER WE'LL ONCE AGAIN TALK REPUBLICAN POLITICS. MY REGULAR GUEST MARK COLLIER WILL JOIN ME AS WE TRY TO UNDERSTAND IFTHE UNLIKELY ALLIANCE BETWEEN TED CRUZ AND JOHN KASICH IS REAL AND POSSIBLY A GAME CHANGER OR IS IT ALREADY FIZZLING.  DONALD TRUMP, OF COURSE, HAD A BIG NIGHT TUESDAY IN THE NORTHEAST, SWEEPING ALL FIVE PRIMARY CONTESTS BY HUGE MARGINS.  BUT THE NEXT BIG TEST COMES UP NEXT TUESDAY IN INDIANA, A MUST WIN STATE FOR CRUZ BUT POLLS CURRENTLY SHOW TRUMP AHEAD.  AND WHILE AFTER ESTABLISHING A QUESTIONABLE RELATIONSHIP WITH CRUZ, KASICH THEN SAID THAT HE WOULD STILL ASK HIS VOTERS IN THE HOOSIER STATE TO VOTE FOR HIM ANYWAY. WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?  BUT AFTER ALL IT'S THE WORLD OF POLITICS, FOLKS, IN A VERY UNUSUAL YEAR SO DON'T BE SURPRISED AT ANYTHING THAT COULD HAPPEN. AND WHATEVER THE END GAME, LIBERTY LOVERS OF ALL PERSUASIONS NEED TO COME TOGETHER IN THE END TO INSURE THAT HILLARY CLINTON DOES NOT BECOME PRESIDENT.  MORE TAXES, LESS FREEDOM AND EDICTS FROM A MORALLY BANKRUPT PRESIDENT WOULD BE THE END RESULT.  WE AS A NATION LIKELY CAN'T SURVIVE MORE OF WHAT WE'VE HAD FOR MUCH OF THE LAST GENERATION. THIS WE ALL NEED TO UNDERSTAND. THE SHOW GOES LIVE AT 10 AM AND THEN WILL REMAIN AVAILABLE ON DEMAND. HOPE YOU'LL JOIN US.

A NORTH FLORIDA WRITER WARNING: BEWARE OF THE REPUBLICAN ESTABLISHMENT!

    in Lifestyle

TED CRUZ WINS IN WISCONSIN AND SETS DONALD TRUMP BACK A BIT, YET THE RACE FOR THE REPUBLICAN NOMINATION IS FAR FROM OVER. REGARDLESS OF YOUR FAVORITE, THE SENATOR IS TO BE CONGRATULATED FOR A WELL ORGANIZED PRIMARY WIN. AND NOW WHAT SHOULD CONCERN US MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE IS WHAT THE REPUBLICAN ESTABLISMENT IS UP TO. SINCE WE KNOW THAT THEY DON'T LIKE EITHER OF THE TWO LEADERS IN THE RACE, ARE THEY SETTING UP A DOUBLE CROSS, ARE THEY COOPTING A CANDIDATE, OR IS THEIR EVEN SOMETHING MORE DEVIOUS COMING UP?  AFTER ALL, NEVER FORGET WHAT THEY DID TO YOUNG CHRIS MCDANIEL IN MISSISSIPPI IN 2014 AND THAT WAS JUST A SENATE SEAT.  A BRIGHT YOUNG MAN WAS SMEARED BY THE PARTY THAT HE HAD SUPPORTED SINCE HE WAS 13 YEARS OLD BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T WANT A CONSERVATIVE TO REPLACE AGING THAD COCHRAN.  SO NEVER DOUBT WHAT THEY'LL TRY TO DO IN A PRESIDENTIAL RACE WHEN THE TWO LEADERS DO NOT FIT THEIR MOLD OF "GOING ALONG TO GET ALONG".  REGULAR GUEST MARK COLLIER WILL JOIN NORTH FLORIDA WRITER LIVE THURSDAY AFTERNOON AS WE DISCUSS THE UNFOLDING DRAMA  OF THE ELECTION CYCLE AND WHAT IT MEANS TO CONSERVATISM. WE HOPE YOU'LL JOIN US FOR A TIMELY DISCUSSION.

Can the Raiders start to build some momentum in the early part of the season? Has the offense cooled off? Will newcomer Anthony Vasquez continue to build off his impressive debut? Is there enough pitching for the Raiders to sustain a first place run?
