And what can do about it? Enter Michael Green. About ten years ago, Michael founded the Center for Environmental Health (CEH) to raise public awareness of the corporate use of toxic chemicals and of the many viable, pragmatic solutions to this pervasive threat to public health. He has also pioneered the groundbreaking legal work that has won landmark victories to protect the public from hazardous consumer products and toxic emissions. in Self Help
On this episode of NTR: Non-Tree Radio, host Courtney Lambert talks with featured guest Amy Perrin about making career MOVEs and their experiences in this area. Career moves are not easy. Some people stay at jobs they hate because they have financial responsibilities, some people stay because they are afraid of change, and others stay because they don't feel they are qualified to do what they truly want to do. Courtney and Amy talk with listeners about their decisions to make moves in their careers and how they executed their plans. Afterwards, Courtney and Michelle continue the conversation with key points and suggestions. If you are looking for that extra push of encouragement to go after your dreams, don't miss this show!
The benefits of a broader, more inclusive definition of beauty--whether that means using fewer and cleaner cosmetics, loving your body as is, or letting your hair express its natural curl or color--extend far beyond one's own life. They affect families, communities, even the culture at large. Self-acceptance often leads to accepting others more easily, too, and the world can always use more of that.
Join Partners in Health and Biz talk show host Gail Dixon as we discuss a few of the ways people have begun to redefine beauty -- and appreciate the natural beauty in each of us.
