Rosanna Tufts is an astrologer from Baltimore who uses the Vedic system from India.
She is presently studying to become certified as an astrologer from the American
Academy of Vedic Art and Science. She is also the author of “Windfall! Taming the Jealousy. She is the host of the internet radio show “The Tufts Get Going,” and she will be discussing the importance of the use of our Nodes in solidifying our purpose.
The Nodes of the Moon suggest personal karmic imbalance. Thus, consciously working on these "life lessons" can bring us to increased happiness and fulfillment. If we over-emphasize and fall back on the qualities of our South Node, at the expense of developing our North Node, we may have a difficult time feeling personally successful.
Whether or not we consciously work on these lessons, events in our lives are likely to force us to confront them. In my experience, people often begin to confront and work on their North Node lessons in their thirties, whether or not they are aware of the issues through Astrology. Before this stage of our lives, we may be somewhat blind to our South Node tendencies.

he Free Software Foundation urges everyone to reject Windows 10 and join us in the world of free software. Like all proprietary software, Windows 10 puts those that use it under the thumb of its owner. Free software like the GNU/Linux operating system treats users as equals and gives them control over their digital lives.
One of the more controversial features of Microsoft's new Windows 10 operating system, which recently began its official phased roll out, is the inclusion of Wi-Fi Sense. Previously an obscure feature of Windows Phone, it sends Wi-Fi passwords in encrypted form to all of your contacts, automatically, without asking you, unless you opt out.

Join me host Hezekiah L. Montgomery as I have a live interview with Mrs. Beneka Jones a native of Annapolis, Maryland. When I first met Mrs. Jones she didn't appear to have had any health issues. But when we began to talk and she told me more and more about herself, she mentioned something that struck me immediately. She told me that she was a stage IV cancer survivor. When I did some research on stage IV cancer this is what I found.
"These stages indicate cancers or tumors that are larger in size, have grown more deeply into nearby tissue, and have spread to lymph nodes, but not to other parts of the body. Stage IV. This stage means that the cancer has spread to other organs or parts of the body. It may also be called advanced or metastatic cancer."
She told me that they sent her home and gave her 90 days to live. What would you do if the doctors told you that you have only 90 days to live? Well Ms. Beneka didn't believe that report. At first she was upset, which is the natural order of things. She went through all the emotions like anyone else who hears this kind of news, but on her 72nd day something miraculous happened. Tune in to The Man In the Mirror hear more of her story.
In January 2010, I found that the lives of my wife Terri and me will never be the same again. After two trips to the hospital we discovered that Terri had Stage 4 endometrial cancer. The doctors removed her uterus and the affected lymph nodes in the area. Suddenly, things that were very important before, no longer mattered. We ended up shifting our attention from our careers to how we are going to beat the cancer. Suddenly, things that were very important before, no longer mattered. At times it seemed the treatments were causing as many problems as they were solving. During May of 2010, things turned bad. The cancer had spread and she spent over 2 weeks in the hospital and she almost died. Then over the next 3 months she started feeling much better. She still had the cancer, but she was feeling pretty good. This period of time was the lull before the storm. After Terri passed away, there was a long grieving process. Much longer than I ever expected. I am trying to live my life by living as a bold, open, vulnerable, and abundant man. These characteristics help me to grow into the person I want to be.
