Grace & Peace, I'm Lady Purvis. I believe in speaking the truth in love. I also enjoy receiving knowledge and truth. I believe in taking a stand for what is spiritually and morally right, even when it means that I may have to stand alone. The time has come for us as a nation to reach out with extended hands and Godly knowledge to help our people and those who truly desire change. However, CHANGE comes by "the renewing of your mind". This show allows a platform for you to call in and share opinion on politics, information about your growing business and other important information that could be helpful to communities worldwide. This platform also allows you to share your journey and your heart. We all have a path that we must take and God knows, we all "Have a Story to Tell. Listen in and give us a call at (714) 242-5211.
In 2011 the book Fifty Shades of Gray became all the rage. The book has since sold over seventy million copies and a movie will be released soon. Startlingly ordinary women -- good Christian women, elderly women – devoured the trilogy in record numbers without a twinge of conscience even though the book features graphic depictions of sadomasochistic sex.
When best selling author Bette Nordberg blogged about her decision not to read the book, the response surprised and dismayed her: Why does it matter? Bette wrote the Bible study we will talk about on today’s show, Shades of Purity, to answer that question.
This is one show you dare not miss! Join us live Tuesday at 7 PM Pacific .
David and Jeff will be discussing (yet again) why cancer sucks, as they talk about Ray Manzarek and Trevor Bolder, along with thoughts on the Oklahoma disaster. Jon Bon Jovi, Dan Baird and Chester Bennington (along with some goats) will also be discussed.
They will also talk about why they are taking a week off. If you miss them, you'll have this episode, the Lee Townsend and the Chuggalug episodes to punch up!
Truth be known...David and Jeff are doing this week's show under duress (a word brought up during an appearence they did on Tuesday, which they will bring up). One's under the weather...the other's complaining about the weather.
David and Jeff will also be talking about season finales on TV, along with playing some of their favorite tunes, including Tim Steele.
Join me for a special interview with recording artist Carmichael and a very candid conversation with one of my favorite business owners over 50, Lewis Rudd, Owner of Ezell's Famous Chicken. He skates, cycles and manages an internationally know company. And an exciting interview with A'mbiance Magazine Publisher, the fly Mr Jonathan Fields.
