Author Spotlight with Author of Til Death Do Us Part Nicole Milner

    in Books

The Beautiful Butterfly Show Welcomes Author of " Til Death Do Us Part" Nicole Milner.

Nicole Milner Milner is a native of Richmond, Virginia and is a proud graduate of Hampton University and published her first book,Til Death Do Us Part, in 2012. She says it's actually funny hearing her name and the word “author” in the same sentence and context. She may have written two or three poems when she was a love struck teenager and a few research papers for school, but that’s about it. Milner never had any desire to be a writer or to produce a play for that matter. By profession she’s human resources, not writer, not producer. Well, at least not until now!

Publishing her first book and now anticipating the play based on the book has been both an exciting and humbling experience. Some reader comments have included “I wanted to tell you great book. It was very inspirational and I have encouraged others to read it. You are truly a blessing and you have touched my heart;" “I cried when I read your book because it felt like you were telling my story;” and “Your book has the makings of a movie. Although Milner’s books are fiction, she crafts her story lines based on some actual events which makes the story more relatable to the reader.

The Pastors Protection Act! Joining us today is Pastor Chris L. Walker!

    in Lifestyle

Pastor Chris L. Walker has taken action to gain signatures & support in developing the "Pastors Protection Act" here in the State of Florida. This is in regards to having your right to preach, teach, & exercise the Living, True Word of God. To not be sued for not performing "same sex" marriages or for teaching against SIN in your local churches. The Pastor Protection Act is not an attempt, discrimination, or minimizing anyone's choices. However, this is a solid attempt to take a stand FOR righteousness in Christ according to His Word. It's not about whether you're straight, gay, bisexual, or transgender. Tune in to hear more!

    Business Blitz with Yolanda Keels-Walker

    in Entrepreneur

Yolanda Keels-Walker is a serial entrepreneur with a knack for networking with other Business Babes. Yolanda began her career with the Central Intelligence Agency after graduating from Hampton University with a BS in Business Management. While there, she negotiated contracts on behalf of the federal government and served rotations with the National Reconnaissance Office and East Asia Division receiving six Exceptional Performance Awards. Continuing her career in Contract Negotiations and Procurement, Yolanda went on to work in management capacity at General Dynamics and ManTech managing several employees and handling sensitive government projects in excess of $980 million.

In 2010 Yolanda got married, liquidated all of her assets,  and moved to Philadelphia, PA to start a family and pursue her first successful business, The Weave Bar hair salon. Two years, two locations and twenty employees later, Yolanda walked away from her first "business baby" as a result of a very messy divorce. With a new lease on life, Yolanda rebranded her previous interests into Suite Extensions Salons in order to build a company that reflected her values and commitment to service . Different Dream. Same Hustle.

Yolanda started Business Babes to build up and help other women that may have encountered business hardships. Yolanda lives by the creed "Your setback is a setup for a comeback."

Today, Yolanda's portfolio includes real estate development, business coaching, public speaking engagements, and a private label cosmetics development company. In addition to growing Suite Extensions salons to two locations in PA and VA, Yolanda also owns Pink Label Beauty, a luxury hair care brand and is a partner with Girls Auto Clinic.
