The Knee Jerks: Eno and Big Al

    in Sports

Long-time Detroit sports bloggers and podcasters, Greg Eno (aka the Voice of Reason), and Big Al Beaton are The Knee Jerks! Eno and Big Al broadcast live every Monday night at 7PM Eastern on the Sports Geeks Radio Network!

This week Big Al and Eno, the man who knows a lot about a lot things, talk Tigers, Pistons, Red Wings and the NFL. We also welcome back Bleacher Report's Adam Biggers for Adam Rants. Adam takes on the latest news on the NCAA investigating Johnny Manziel.

Jhonny Perlata and others involved in the Biogenesis investigation are finally being suspended.

To replace Peralta, the Tigers acquire slick-fielding shortstop Jose Iglesias from the Red Sox as part of a three-way trade.

Iglesias will be the Tigers' long-term shortstop, Peralta moving on in free agency after the season.

The silliy fallout over Iglesias wearing the number one, out of circulation since Lou Whitaker retired.

The Tigers acquire the bullpen arm they desperately neededin Astros' closer Jose Veras.

The Red Wings will retire Nicklas Lidstrom's number five before a game with the Avalanche next season.

The Pistons give up on Brandon Knight as paret of a sign and trade deal with the Bucks for point guard Brandon Jennings.

The Pistons have become a far more interesting to watch team thanks to Joe Dumars' aggressive off season.

The NFL makes ridiculous changes to the Pro Bowl rules trying to generate interest in a boring, unecessary game.

All that plus the Birthday Game and the Jerk of the Week!
