We have gone division by division over the past few weeks to make sure we covered all the teams before the start of August. There will be too much important stuff to talk about in August before you draft that we have cranked these divisions out. Now that we are done with the AFC and have done half of the NFC, it is time to finish it up with the NFC East and NFC West!?
There are clear patterns that have emerged on Big Ten teams outside of Ohio State, and NFC East teams outside the Redskins. The Big Ten will be in the spotlight on Saturday night when Michigan State hosts Oregon. The NFC East has the Cowboys, Giants and Eagles all playing in prime-time. Tune into this concise podcast to learn about the trends and how they can work for you.

On this week's episode of "Pro Football View from the East," hosts Joe Tufaro (@Tufdan) and Dennis Agapito (@PFVFE) discuss the NFC East as the injuries continue to mount for the favorites to repeat as division champs the Dallas Cowboys. Quarterback Tony Romo suffered a broken collar bone in the Cowboys victory over the Philadelphia Eagles and will be out for at least 8 weeks.
The Eagles have yet to win a game sitting at 0-2 as they head to the 2-0 New York Jets. The big offseason acquisition of Demarco Murray has yet to pay dividends as the Eagles rushing attack has struggled.
Joe and Dennis will also review some key games in the NFL from week two along with a preview of several big matchups in week three.
Tonight on Open Mike, I welcome guest Karen Vankat to talk about the shaky NFC East. The Eagles and Redskins both lost on Sunday, while Dallas won. Are the Giants still the team to beat in this division, or does Dallas have a shot? Also, we will talk about the Jets debacle against the Houtson Texans, and the impact on both teams. Check us out at 5:30.
We are going to go division by division over the next few weeks to make sure we cover all the teams before the start of August. There will be too much important stuff to talk about in August before you draft that we need to crank these divisions out. Now that we are done with the AFC, it is time to start the NFC! Let the NFC South and NFC North discussions begin...?
It's beginning to look a lot like football...everywhere you go...
OK, I take some liberties from the old holiday tune, but it is definitely feeling like the NFL-gears are starting to turn faster and faster! Tuesday, June 24 - NFC East Fantasy Football Preview Show
Join host Micah James (@FFMagicMan) in welcoming the Road Warrior himself, Dave Cherney (@RoadWarrior_D) stops by to talk NFC East on tonight's episode. As long as we can get past Dave's beloved Cowboy's, this show will take listeners through the division and answer questions about the Eagles (can the offense repeat its 2013 success?), Redskins (can a healthy RG3 take the team back to the playoffs) and Giants (they can't be any worse in 2013, can they?)...
This week is a big show because this will be our final division and conference previews before we get into some dynamite shows in the next few weeks.
We start off with a live NFC East Division Preview and every team is included here, as Gary will represent the Dallas Cowboys, Brandon Biskobing represents the New York Giants, Anthony Rouh represents the Philadelphia Eagles and new to the program is Shun Goosby representing the Washington Redskins. We give our division records, overall records, and how the teams will perform during the season.
We then get into NFL News discussing the ACL injuries of Jordy Nelson and Orlando Scandrick, Michael Vick being signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers and more.
Daniel Anderson joins us to breakdown both divisions of the SEC, as Randy, Gary, and Sean all give opinions on that as well.
Jeff Ratcliffe, Kevin Cole, and Mike Tagliere preview all 16 teams in the NFC, focusing on the most pressing fantasy issues for each team. The guys discuss Jason Witten and Victor Cruz as over/under valued, Sam Bradford and Robert Griffin III returning from injury, Ameer Adbullah's and Kevin White's stock, Richard Rodgers as a deep TE, the Charles Johnson hype train, Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman, Jonathan Stewart finally(?) becoming a feature back, the third receveir in New Orleans, Jameis Winston in his rookie season, John Brown over Fitzgerald and Floyd, Jimmy Graham in Seattle, Carlos Hyde's outlook, and which RB to own in St. Louis.
The 2015 NFL Draft is in the rearview mirror, and while another round of post-June 1 free agency remains, for the most part we know who will be playing where in 2015, whether it's veterans like DeMarco Murray (now with the Philadelphia Eagles) or rookies like Kevin White (who was the Chicago Bears' first round pick this year).
And with fantasy draft season just around the corner, that means it's time to examine all the offseason moving and shaking and see how it impacts the fantasy value of both those players who changed addresses and those who stayed put.
With that in mind, Fantasy Football Feeding Frenzy hosts Gary Davenport and Walton Spurlin welcome Fantasy Sharks Staff Writer Todd Latzke, who will help break down the past few months and how they affect the fortunes of fantasy football fanatics everywhere.
So come on in -- the water's FINE!
It's time for football again, and time for Doug Farrar of Sports Illustrated and Greg Cosell of NFL Films to preview the 2015 season, division by division. We start with the NFC East, a division with all kinds of questions: Can the Cowboys lean on their offensive line enough to overcome the loss of DeMarco Murray? Is the Giants' passing game good enough to overcome issues at other placed on the roster? Will Chip Kelly's serious roster makeover give the Eagles the division title? And can Jay Gruden and Robert Griffin III ever get on the same page? Doug and Greg go under the hood with serious conceptual and schematic discussions.
