Back to Biz Network Marketing Good or Bad?

    in Social Networking

This month I'm getting back to business exploring services and techniques that we should and/or should not be using to help us grow starting out as baby entrepreneurs or self employed people. These are subjects we may have been curious about, things we may have thought about investing in but are hesitant to do so, and answering the question what is ***** really all about.

One of them I find is network marketing seems like lots of people are into it. Is it worth the investment? Does it truly pay off in the long or short end of it? How much should I invest in a network marketing company and how long should I wait before quitting if it’s not worth it?

There is always a risk factor no matter what type of investment you put your money in to.  The risk can be small from investing small amount of money or big when putting out the big bucks. It all depends on the amount of risk your willing to take and the turnaround time of your investment.

Network marketing plans or services always scream "I'm going to make you rich! rich! rich!" but do they really? Are there any truly legitimate network marketing companies? If so how hard do we really have to work to get there?

I have asked Robert McNaulty who has been in network marketing for many, many years. He has made money and lost money but he swears by network marketing to be the best thing to make you lots of money with minimal investments.  He will be joining me on this show and see shedding some insights from his opinions. I will also be pulling up my search finds on this subject to see what's on the shady company list. Join me with your finds call-in or Skype in and share a network marketing experience you have had or are still in at #347-237-4697.

    JUNTO SHOES

    in Lifestyle

This week please join Frankie Picasso on The Good Radio Network this Thursday, January 22 at 1:00 pm est.when her guest is Mauricio Laniado, Founder of Juntos Shoes, a social fashion company whose motto is Look Good, Do Good!

Mauricio is a young social entrepreneur who has reached back to his heritage and taken the lowly El Zapato de Lona, the Ecuadorian street shoe , worn by the working class in  cities like Guayaquil, Ecuador  ( where he was born) and turned it into a fashion statement for all. This shoe is  an iconic part of the Ecuadoran landscape - part functional necessity, part social signifier.

Juntos embraces this heritage and brings it to you, refining and repurposing the design while preserving everything that makes the shoe, the shoe.

That’s why there is a  map of Ecuador on the inside of every pair, so one never forgets where they came from.

It’s also why for every pair sold, Juntos donates an education pack filled with crucial school supplies to a local child in Ecuador –as  a small way of giving back to the places wherehe found  inspiration. So far 1000 packs have been given out to students. The bright yellow bag with the Juntos logo is also funtional as well as beautiful.

I don't think we have anything to worry about if our future includes young Entrepreneuers like Mauricio Lanidades.

For Mauricio and his company..that is what they call- a real  ethical footprint.

Rockin out in the BIG HOUSE with Danny Brooks n Lil Debi

    in Lifestyle

Please join host Frankie Picasso on Thursday, December 4th at 1:00 pm EST, when she greets  guests Danny Brooks and his wife Lil Debi, who for past 24 years have been active in prison ministry.
Danny has been in the music business since 1971 having played in blues, country, hard rock and rhythm and blues bands but his first introduction to ministry was with his father, who took Danny and his siblings, a sister and brother to the street corners of Toronto and had them recite scripture verses.
A"rough life and a 'season of rebellion' found Danny on the downslide. As it was with so many young musicians during the 70's and 80's, the drug culture captured  Danny's attention and he found himself doing time in prison for the crimes committed to pay for his  addictions to drugs and alcohol. It was during this time spent in prison that Danny attributes to his skill in writing music.
In 1987, just 3 months from being released from the Donwood Institute in Toronto where he was treated for alcohol and drug addiction, Danny came to his faith.
1991,was a good year for Danny. Not only did he become involved in Prison Ministry but he was also nominated for the Juno Award for Most Promising Male Vocalist.
Danny has been blessed with a big talent and a distinctive voice, and one thing is for sure, he is  a BORN STORY TELLER.
Performing and speaking in Prisons, Rehabs and Halfway Houses has become an important part of who Danny Brooks has become. Whenever, and where ever Danny tours, it is imperative that at least one of the above facilities is on the tour. Giving back to communities in this way allows him  to share his story, and impart hope for eternity in Christ.
