Root Cause Radio ~ Sharing the Secrets of Optimal Health
Halloween really did a number on the NFL this past week as we saw a number of major and season ending injuries. We welcome Fantasy football columnist over on FantasySixPack.net, Kevin Huo to help discuss the effect from all of those and the cooresponding move you should be planning to make.
We then look ahead to Week 9, talking about some of the other waiver wire additions to consider. We will then finish with our most/least Fantasy friendly game and our sleepers/busts for the week.
As always call in, to ask questions or give your opinion on a topic.
The Total Tutor Neil Haley will interview Mary Jean Taechman. She will discuss Meditation and Memory Loss and the Role of Meditation in Brain Injuries.
A.J and Joe are back to discuss what for most of you was the first week of the Fantasy Football Playoffs.
We start with some fun, or maybe not so fun depending on what side of the coin you fall, bad beat stories from Richard Savill's FSWA (Fantasy Sports Writers Association) league.
Next we get into the weeds discussing all the injuries that likely affected your Fantasy matchup this week. A lot of big name players went down early in games and owners were left with zeros, or close to it. If you were lucky enough to move on we'll tell you how to prepare going forward without your star players.
Finishing up the Week 14 discussion we will run through the busts and saviors from the first week of the Fantasy playoffs.
As always we close the show with our waiver wire pick ups for the week, best/worst game of week 15 and our sleeper/bust picks.
Week 15 is here. It might be last man standing. And I am not talking about the fantasy game.
More big injuries – that could really change things.
We’ll break down the big ones.
However, I think we’re beginning to see the outline of who will be in and who won’t.
Does the NFL need to revamp the playoff seedings and keep 7-9 or 6-10 teams out?
Are football fans in Phoenix deserving of Cards? Some other twists in the LA relocation story involving the Rams.
And the Johnny Manziel media-bias show continues on ESPN.
And what got into the Raiders last week. Who are those guys?
As always our expert is Eric Snyder. He is the author of a book on the Raiders and Raider Nation. You can hear him on the Power Hour on 1340 Fox Sports Radio in Las Vegas.
Boychic, good morning.
Let’s start with the injuries. Is Andy Dalton the biggest loss?
Time for Pretender-Contender. First Broncos?
Coach Nick sat down with Certified Athletic Trainer Jeff Stotts of InStreetClothes.com to discuss the latest injury news in the NBA, as well as how these injuries tend to occur. With great insight into the functional movement of the body, Jeff explains how balance and core strength lead to better health and more minutes on the floor. Jeff has compiled a database of every injury in the NBA since 2006, giving him a unique perspective and a crucial fundamental understanding of their cause.

Today we are exploring how today's families are functioning with current crisis and situations the family is forced to deal with. Is the Government involved too much in family matters? How do teenagers raise responsible children when they are children? Why are children turning to violence and suicide? What's really going on in society? The listeners are challenged to discover and explore possible solutions for their realities from a positive perspective. We are here to help modify the gaps in our bridge in some cases.

Here we are early in 2016 and Boychuk and Hamonic go down. What next? Meanwhile, why does this team still not look anything like last years? Couple of reasons. We will analyze.
We have just been given the shocking news of the passing of Brian Knighton, known to ECW fans as Axl Rotten. Axl and Ian (John Williams) known collectively as The Bad Breed were a major force early on in the tag scene in ECW. Whether as a team or feuding, they were always entertaining.
In recent years Brian had been dealing with numerous issues related to collective injuries. His struggle to be able to even be able to walk again was the subject of a documentary.
He had been with us just a couple of months ago when we paid tribute to Hack Myers and things according to him were looking good and his ability to walk was vastly improving so the shock is beyond words.
We will be joined briefly by Joel Gertner and may be joined by Jim Mollineaux and possibly other ECW Originals.
The NFL dropped the roman numerals after 49 Super Bowls. Super Bowl 50 will pair future Hall of Famer Peyton Manning against this years potential MVP Cam Newton. Manning has played 17 season in the NFL and this could be his last. Newton was in a horrific car crash last season and is looking for his first Lombardi Trophy.
The Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers both used powerful defensive units to get to Super Bowl 50. The Broncos were number one overall in yards allowed and the Panthers were sixth. The Broncos allowed 18.5 points per game whlie the Panthes only allowed 19.2. Both teams pressure the quarterback and force turnovers. The Broncos led the league with 52 sacks and the Panthers registered 44.
Peyton Manning battled injuries and endured the worst statistical year of his career. Cam Newton lost his top receiver in training camp and proceeded to put up career numbers. The Panthers averaged 142.6 yards per game rushing which ranked second. The Broncos identity was to run first, and they averaged 25 rushes per game and 107 rushing yards.
With two dominating defenses, which offense will be able to muster a play to win the game? Will special teams determine the winner? Listen in and call the show with your thoughts.
