In his latest book release, The Only Thing that Matters,Neale Donald Walsch shares a startling message: “98% of the world’s people are spending 98% of their time on things that don’t matter.” Personal happiness seems mysteriously and frustratingly elusive. Even when people achieve it, they can’t hold onto it. And according to Walsch, that’s the surest sign something’s amiss. In this interview about his new book, Walsch shares concrete tools and offers questions that he invites, and actually dares, people to ask themselves throughout their day. Questions like, “What does what I am doing right now have to do with the agenda of my soul?”He says such questions can redirect one’s life energies in such a way that life itself is changed forever for the better—and the World also begins to change. Don’t miss it.

In his own inimitable down-to-earth style, Neale discusses how by changing our cultural thinking we can create a better world both personally and universally. Rather than trying to legislate the Ten Commandments he says, “We must think of them as Moses intended, as Ten Commitments that flow naturally when we are connected to God in our hearts.” Neale shares his belief that, “Oneness means that we are living in a unified reality, everything is a manifestation of one thing and that one thing is what many people call God or if you please the essence, or primal energy of the universe. When we know that all things are one thing, then we can interact or use this one thing in a way that produces the life that we wish to have, as well as work with others to create what most of us want on the planet.”
Neale Donald Walsch had a distinguished career in communications arts before retiring to pursue his vision of a world in which people no longer live in fear of God, or of each other. He has written more than twenty books on spirituality and its practical application in everyday life, including the multimillion-selling "With God" series. www.NealeDonaldWalsch.com

Over the past 10-15 years, I’ve tried to get real gay pioneers to speak at Pride events and as soon as they step up to the microphone, the crowd’s eyes go glossy and they walk away faster than turning a fire hose on them. They have no interest in learning about how things used to be and how we got from there to here. They take everything for granted and have no idea what are and aren’t their legal rights. On Facebook, I’ve seen people I know in places like Texas, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida get fired from their jobs and they tell their friends and 500 gay men and another 500 lesbians will pipe in and yell, “They can’t do that! It’s illegal!”
