In this episdoe of The Red Light Sports Ramble, presented by The Red Light Sports Network, Evan Witalison and Troy Otradovec will take a look at some of the hottest topics, in the world of sports. Tonights show will focus on Brett Favre's Hall of Fame Ceremony. If you had the chance to attend Favre's ceremony, would you go? The once unknown quarterback, who Ron Wolf traded for, set numerous individual records, during his 20 year career. He also brought the Vince Lombardi Trophy, back to Green Bay. However, after the 2007 season, Favre retired and then un-retired. The Packers were ready to hand over the reigns, to Aaron Rodgers. Favre was traded to the New York Jets, and after one year, Favre bolted to the Vikings. Some Packer fans had a bitter taste in their mouth, and made it known when he returned to Lambeau Field, as a Viking. Time mends wounds, and Favre will have his #4 jersey retired.
Ndamukong Suh is considered a top free agent, in 2015. The Super Bowl is over, which means teams focus on the free agency period. Some teams will consider what players they need to bring back, while others will scour the open market. Suh has been deemed a "dirty player" by some fans and players. No one will argue the domination of Suh. In his five years, Suh has recorded 36 sacks. Is Suh worth the big price tag, and his sometimes irrational play, on the field?
The Green Bay Packers have a number of free agents, to consider re-signing. They are in a good situation, when it comes to the salary cap. However, two players could command a big payday. Brian Buluga had a bounce back year, and showed he can be a dominate tackle. Randall Cobb has impressed, since his rookie year. Cobb also returned from injury, in 2013. He put up 91 catches, 1,287 yards, 12 TD's. Which one is more important for the Packers to sign?

Keith and Duke will also participate in a 14-selection mock draft, with input from listeners and those participating in the show's live thread.

Welcome to another episode of INtheZONE! The innovative podcast that brings you everything NFL, NBA, and then some. Patrick Willis has shocked the football world by retiring at 30, while former Lion's DT Ndamukong Suh joins the Dolphins. Duh is now the highest paid defensive player in the NFL. Join Kevin and Ed as they discuss whether or not he was worth it.
The New England Patriots have been the AFC East Champions for six straight years, and have won 12 of the last 14 dating back to 2001. In retrospect, the Buffalo Bills have not won the AFC East since 1995.
The optimisim is high, in Buffalo. Rex Ryan was dismissed as the New York Jets head coach, and then subsequenltly hired as the Bills head coach. The Bills did everything on paper to try and compete against the Patriots. However, it is to be determined if a trade for Matt Cassel is the answer at quarterback. They picked up dynamic running LeSean McCoy, in a trade with the Philadephia Eagles. They also added Percy Harvin at wide receiver.
The New England Patriots are coming off of another Super Bowl victory. However, controversy has surrounded the playoffs, with "Deflate Gate." Tom Brady was suspended four games, by Roger Goodell. Brady has brought this case to the court system. In either case, to be the best you have to beat the best.
The Miami Dolphins may have signed the biggest free agent, when they signed Ndamukong Suh to a 6 year $114 million contract. With a progressing Ryan Tannehill, can the Dolphins find a way to overtake the Patriots? They found a formiddle running game, in 2014, that ranked 12th overall, and a passing game that ranked 17th.
After a preseason fight, the New York Jets will be without Geno Smith. Was he really the answer? The Jets are coming off a horrid 4-12 season, where they scored a league low 27 touchdowns (tied with Jacksonville). Usually, the Jets have a sound defense; however, they finished 24th in scoring defense.
It's time for football again, and time for Doug Farrar of Sports Illustrated and Greg Cosell of NFL Films to preview the 2015 season, division by division. We continue with the NFC North, a division with all kinds of questions: Can the Bears turn around their defense with Vic Fangio replacing Mel Tucker? How will the Lions adapt without Ndamukong Suh? Can the Packers overcome their own defensive personnel attrition and get to the Super Bowl with their high-flying offense? And do the Vikings live up to their chic pick status? Greg and Doug break it down schematically as only they can.
Join host Keith Beebe at 9 p.m. EST as he and co-host Duke chat with guests and callers about the Miami Dolphins. Tonight's discussion will focus on tomorrow night's kickoff to Dolphins 2015 football, Ryan Tannehill on the cover of Sports Illustrated's fantasy football issue, Ndamukong Suh poised to eat the AFC East and details regarding yesterday's "punch heard 'round the world" at New York Jets camp. We'll debate whether the Dolphins' current wide receiver corps is the best the team has had since Duper and Clayton. Join us at a special time tonight, 10:30 p.m. EST.

After sweeping the Milwaukee Brewers, the Cubs are now locked in a tight battle race for the 2nd Wild Card spot. The upcoming stretch is a crucial one as they take on the Pirates, who currently hold the 1st Wild Card, before a 4-game series at home against the Giants who are just 1/2 game back of the Cubs in the Wild Card race. With a starting pitcher and reliever added before last Friday's trade deadline, the Cubs have a legitimate shot to make the playoffs. Let's all enjoy the ride!
The Bears had their first off-day of training camp today, but there's still plenty to talk about. Rookie WR Kevin White is still MIA with a bad shin, rookies and 2nd year players are challenging veterans at several positions, and the players like what they see from Defensive Coordinator Vic Fangio's 3-4 scheme so far.
Elsewhere in the NFC North, the Detroit Lions are trying to make the playoffs in back-to-back seasons for the first time since the mid 1990s. With several key losses along their defensive line, what can we expect from one of the best run-stopping defenses in football last year?
All this plus your calls @ (347) 327-9183. BECAUSE CHICAGO LOVES SPORTS!
So the OTA's have started and there was nothing in particular that really stood out except... OH.... SUH WAS THERE!!!!! He hopped offsides a few times but that was to be expected at this time of year...Thank GOD though that contact is not allowed in the OTA's....LOL... As you may or may not know, Nadamykan Suh is famous for skipping OTS's in Detroit but... there he was in aqua & white today in Davie lookin all beastly! Delmas didnt look like he was comin off knee surgery... Everybody on the roster was on the field on DAY 1 !!!
Devante Parker was lookin sharp as was Ryan Tannehill and Kenny Stills.... Jamar Taylor was good... Bowman got beat on a couple passes and Greg Jenkins missed a deep slant but caught the next one... We will touch on several of the notes from this weeks first time on the practice field in a while. We will also touch a bit on our predictions at this early date and take your calls Thursday 6:30 EST at (516) 435-9433. Dont forget to bring your questions and comments and YOUR predictions for the NFL upcoming year.
