    Piranahs - Monsters of Nature

    in Environment

Piranahs - Monsters of Nature will be the topic on tonight's Natures Talk Show Monsters of Nature. A piranha or piraña is a member of family Characidae in order Characiformes, an omnivorous freshwater fish that inhabits South American rivers. In Venezuela, they are called caribes. From the moment tiny baby piranhas hatch from their microscopic eggs, they come into the world armed and dangerous. Baby piranha will feast on tiny crustaceans, fruits, seeds, and aquatic plants. Once they reach about 1.5 inches in length they begin feeding on the fins and flesh of other fish that wander too closely. As they grow larger they begin to venture out in groups (shoals) of about 20 fish where they use a variety of hunting strategies to kill and eat their prey. Heck, they don't kill their prey first, they just start eating the victim alive - that's what makes them so ferocious. Adult piranha have been known to eat their own babies.Piranhas are world-famous for their razor-sharp teeth. Native peoples of South America will catch the piranha and use their teeth to make tools and weapons. Even the fisherman who catch these vicious little predators have to be careful when the fish is out of water. A single piranha out of water is still dangerous enough to take off the flesh, or the odd toe, from an unwary fisherman.

Supernatural, Spiritual & the Nature of Time

    in Christianity

    Three Realms of Reality Chart

    Supernatural Environment

The supernatural realm can become a distraction, as many believe that it is the same thing as the spiritual realm. So we often mistake what happens there, and what we see, as being 100% true and infallible. Thus, we can experience visions, manifestations of God, angels and demons, etc., and falsely conclude that there is absolute authority and clarity in them.

    Supernatural Warfare

Supernatural warfare, often erroneously called spiritual warfare, is waged between the inhabitants of the supernatural realm, angels, demons and humans. Warfare here is strictly under the control and direct supervision of God, He is sovereign as much here as anywhere.

    Soulical Warfare

Soulical warfare refers specifically to us humans, and involves overcoming the world, the flesh and the devil in our individual lives. These enemies can only be overcome through spiritual weapons made available through dependence on God.

    What is “Supernatural”?

The supernatural realm is simply a temporary plane of existence that God created for the expression of His love. We perceive the supernatural realm with our supernatural (or soulical) senses, so it is important to finetune these faculties.

    Supernatural vs. Spiritual

By elevating aspects of the supernatural realm, like angels and demons, we give them much too much influence and authority in and over our lives. We will only begin to walk in authority over these areas in as much as we believe we have the authority.

    It’s About Time!

It’s important to know what age we are living in so we can better understand what God is doing in, to and through us, and not be fighting against Him.
