On October 11th, 1988, a tradition started known as National Coming Out Day. To honor this annual event, Soul Dancer, Producer of Gay Soul Talk invites you to celebrate this day like you'd celebrate a birthday!
Birthdays often trigger rights of passage in many cultures. Coming out is a unique right of passage for our community. The result(s) of coming out support societal shifts regarding marriage equality unlike other shifts related to equality.
No matter your orientation, you come out, in other ways - daily! How? Listen to learn more!

I never encourage anyone to come out before they are ready. "Coming Out" can be a life changing experience and that change can be good or bad depending on the situation. The experience for everyone however is diffrent. Join a black southern (formally church boy) As I share my experience. Hopefully I am able to provide insight and understanding to those who have alway been curious but were to afraid to ask.
Hopefully some of you are able to find a kinship in this story, also I hope that this reaches the ears of one who is still in the process of self discovery.
I will be sharing with the raw feelings and thoughts of my past. I will laugh at you if you attack me for my past ignorance, you can poke fun though, I'm always fine with a good jest.
Prayer with the Prophets!
Let's pray like: Jesus, King David, Daniel, Prophetess Anna, Paul and Silas and you!
Luke 18:1 (KJV)
1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
Matthew 6:9-13 (KJV)
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
Let us pray until we have the answer!

Today is the National Day of Prayer which I wonder if it really matters, because for decades we've been observing The National Day of Prayer and yet our culture and church is in the biggest mess I've ever seen. The CHURCH has NOT truly REPENTED.
So why are we bothering to have another National Day of Prayer?
Today we'll also share with you a message given by Messianic Rabbi Jonathan Cahn.
Join us for a special National Day of Prayer 2015 program of What's Important Now! Tom Sears has been fortunate to be the key note speaker at multiple NDP events over the last nine years. COME TOGETHER TO HONOR THE MEMORY OF NAFTALI, GIL-AD AND EYAL.
In the summer of 2014, these three Israeli teens were kidnapped by terrorists on their way home from school. Jews from around the world came together to search, pray and offer support. The sense of unity reached its peak as the three boys were found and buried together.
A year later, the families of the boys are asking the Jewish world to re-experience and strengthen this unity by participating in their first yarzheit. Their call to action has been amplified by Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat, Gesher and the Israeli Ministry of Education, along with dignitaries and Jewish institutions around the world.
This anniversary, both poignant and powerful, invites us to honor the teens’ memory by committing one day, “Unity Day,” to bringing back that sense of togetherness and hope.
