SORT BY Relevancy
The Nat Turner Trail as institutionalized in 1990 to preserve the history about Nat Turner. The show will review the things we have done to achieve our objectives. And discuss plans for The plenary/preliminary conference for The Nat Turner Convention of 2011
August 17 is the birthday of Master Marcus Garvey. In the year 2012 it is Registration day for the annual Nat Turner Day Weekend Commemoration. Our radio show is discussion about Schedule of Events for the weekend.
We will interact with early registrants and listeners about the work of Nat Turner and the BLA of 1831. The Nat Turner Revolt have impacted subsequent movements in the Libration Struggle of Afrikan people. The “Movements include Master Marcus Garvey, for example. We shall discuss in what ways this is so. And also lessons of Nat Turner that Mr. Garvey might avoided if he abided in them.
Nat Turner was a Community organizer during his time. We shall take a look at his service to Black people and estimate if some of what he did can be used in the present era. We will look beyond Community Organizer’s in the present era, who learn valuable lessons in the community then use what they learn to run for president of the United States of America. Barack Obama did this. We shall also look at how the lessons from Community Organizing work launched a publishing career that has more than 600 titles in print. We will look at the publishing career of H. Khalif Khalifah.
The ones coming in the wake of Elders today appear to be only “spinning their wheels” rather than doing liberating work. That is, they are most alone because they don’t have money to pay for help on their programs; others have not crystallized their idears to the extent they are able to motivate others to follow their lead.
The radio program will be between the hours of 7:30 and 9:30 pm. We will take questions and 2 to 3 minute statements about the above.
Statements will be taken from interested individuals regarding the correcting, preservation and propagagion of Black History; as we plan and schedule events for THE NAT TURNER CONVENTION OF 2011 at The Nat Turner Library.

The Proposals will be addressed by Presenters during the Plenary Session: Must register in advance to Present.
The Nat Turner Library is located on a 123 acre tract of land that is part of the plantation where he was born, organized a B.L.A., planned and carried the revolt to free every Blackman, woman in child from slavery, second-class citizenship and other forms of oppression in the United States of America.
Today the "Nat Turner Land" is subject to the fate of some 11 million acres that was once owned by black people. But there came a time when the owners could no longer sustain the property, so by hook, crook or otherwise the land was lost.
The Guest Host, Dawah Yisrael will lead a discussion that will feature a status update by H. khalif Khalifah:He will then lead a discussion about what must be done to save the Land and legacy of Nat Turner.
The first day of the Weekend Nat Turner Days Celebration: All day registration Friday with a conference in The African Room Friday Evening 7 to 9 p.m.
Introduction of Delegates and a roundtable discussion to finalize items to present in Plenary Meeting Saturday Morning.
