Nancy Lynn Jarvis was a Santa Cruz, California, Realtor for twenty-five years but was having so much fun writing that she let her license lapse in May of 2013.

After earning a BA in behavioral science from San Jose State University, she worked in the advertising department of the San Jose Mercury News. Nancy's work history reflects her philosophy: people should try something radically different every few years. Writing is her newest adventure.

She put Regan, Tom , and Dave from the Regan McHenry Real Estate Mysteries Series on hiatus to write Mags and the AARP Gang, a comedy/adventure about a group of octogenarian would-be bank robbers, but she missed her characters, so they're back to solve another murder in recently released "The Murder House."

    Society's obsession with body shaming

    in Pop Culture

On this episode I'll be discussing society’s obsession with body image and body shaming. We see it in the media on awards shows or on shows like the fashion police. We may overhear someone on the street make comments about what the next woman may or may not be wearing. We see it in the comments section of social media websites like Facebook and Instagram. We see it everywhere. We have become a society that has become comfortable critiquing and criticizing other women. Whether one is curvy or slim, fashionista or not, it seems like somebody always has something to say.

Nancy Mueller Shares How to Change Your Story

    in Self Help

As a Speaker, Author and Life Sensei for women, Nancy Mueller’s mission is to encourage women to improve their health, value their “self” and increase their wealth. The title, “Sensei” comes from her days as a student, competitor and teacher of the Martial Arts and is roughly translated to “teacher.”

Nancy teaches techniques and philosophies that will move you from a negative lifestyle to a positive lifestyle. Everyone has a story. Some stories enrich their lives and some stories are full of limiting beliefs that hold them back from reaching their true potential.

Nancy says, more often than not, the only thing holding us back from finding love are the stories we tell ourselves about why we CAN’T do something instead of concentrating on why we CAN do something. When we tell ourselves that we will never make enough money, we will never be healthy, we don’t fit in, we will never be good enough, or we will never love; these stories and others like it, hold us back from our true potential.

Tune into Fantasy Dating Radio on Wednesday, June 17, at 6:00 PM PST / 9:00 PM EST to learn how you can change the stories you tell about finding love.

    We dare you!
