Rose Hawthorne - Mother Alphonsa Lathrop – Rose Hawthorne, the second daughter of Nathaniel and Sophia Hawthorne, converted to Roman Catholicism in 1891 and founded a religious order to care for victims of cancer. Born in Lenox, Mass., May 20, 1851, Rose grew up moving from place to place. She lived in West Newton, Mass.; Concord, Mass.; and as an infant in Liverpool, England; then London, Paris, Rome, and Florence, Italy. Rose made her vows as a Dominican nun Dec. 8, 1900, taking the name Alphonsa. With her first companion, Sister M. Rose, she founded the Dominican Congregation of St. Rose of Lima, later called the Servants of Relief for Incurable Cancer. In 1901, Mother Alphonsa opened Rosary Hill Home in Hawthorne, New York (now the mother home of the order). She died there July 9, 1926, the anniversary of her parents' wedding.

Hey Gang. This is going to be a fun, fun, fun goof around episode.
Let's start out with Michelle Bachmann saying.... stuff that she says.
Then a quick Brian Fischer cut up and we'll move into the episode from there, where I'll read a mock debate between Nan Rich and Charlie Christ...
And then, back by re-virality.
WE AS EMOTIONAL CREATURES LOVE TO HOLD ON TO RELATIONSHIPS THAT ARE SOMETIMES UNHEALTHY TO OUR LIVES OR WE FIND OURSELVES STIRRING UP OLD FLAMES THAT SHOULD NEVER BE REKINDLED. SOME RELATIONSHIPS MAY BE PRODUCTIVE TO RESTORE BECAUSE OF MATURITY, FORGIVENESS AND GROWTH HAS TAKEN PLACE. BUT THAT'S WHEN WISDOM AND DISCERNMENT NEEDS TO TAKE PLACE. SO WE NEED TO KNOW IF WE NEED TO HOLD ON TO THE RELATIONSHIP OR DO WE NOT ONLY NEED TO LET GO BUT RUN FOR OUR LIFE.

Many women are in the church who are still hurting from past issues that are causing them to be hindered in their present life. God has provided a Healing Balm to soothe all hurts and pains, which is Jesus. Some women can't even go to certain places in God because of the past pain that they have covered up. No wound can heal being covered. It needs to be exposed and tended to. Join us as we dare to go into those dark areas in the spirit and start shing the light of Jesus on those areas and deal with past hurts.
Budding R&B star Marvin Ambrosius knows the value of working with legends—and relatives. “I’m very proud of Friends and Lovers,” he tells Fresh Perspectives Radio host Nikki Rich of sister Marsha Ambrosius’ new album. “The song we did together, Spend All My Time, was originally a love song but it turned into a family song about my loved ones—my auntie and nan. Then Charlie Wilson got onboard, and now it’s got that billionaire feeling,” he adds of The Gap Band frontman. You listen to it and it’s like, This is why we do music. I never thought I’d have my name next to Charlie in a credit. But now I made a bet with Marsha. I said, If you get a Grammy—and this album is gonna win; you can’t be nominated 13 times and not win on your next one—I told her we’ll be there with Charlie goin’ thank you! Because he’s gonna be the reason we got it.”

This Sunday I will be joined by Chris C. De Baca! He is a member of my support group and will talk about his story and his growth! Chris is 47 and was raised in Hawthorne, CA. After Graduating from high school, he went on to trade school. Chris joined the Army, got married, and had a son. While in the Army, Chris earned a bachelor’s degree. After serving 21 years he and his family retired from the Army and settled into civilian life in Ventura, CA.
In 2011 Chris was diagnosed with and began treatment for Adult ADHD. His diagnosis answered four decades of questions previously written off by others as simply having poor character traits or work ethics. While this opened a door to a new reality, it did little to prepare him from the impending collapse of his life.
