Healing Conversations with Mildred Lynn McDonald

    in Spirituality

Episode #33:  What it means to HOLD SPACE for people with special guest HEATHER PLETT

Many of us have heard the expression to "hold the space” for someone, but until now, I haven’t come across much information on what holding the space actually looks like, especially when caring for a loved one who is transitioning into the last stages of life. Enter Manitoba-based teacher, writer, coach, retreat host, and facilitator, HEATHER PLETT.

When I read Heather’s blog, I realized that she was able to lovingly articulate key concepts about the gift of "holding space" gleaned through her own life experience, specifically, the passing of her mother.

During our time together, Heather will explore eight life lessons that she has learned from the amazing people who have held the space for her. They include: 1. Giving people permission to trust their own intuition and wisdom. 2. Giving people only as much information as they can handle. 3. Not taking power away. 4. Keeping your own ego out of it. 5. Making people feel safe enough to fail. 6. Giving guidance and help with humility and thoughtfulness. 7. Creating a container for complex emotions, fear, trauma, etc. 8. Allowing people to make different decisions and have different experiences than you would.  Thank you Heather for doing this beautiful work!

WEEKLY ROUND TABLE with HiC Luttmers, John Carosella and Mildred Lynn: "Conflict is the Beginning of Consciousness”. Get ready for a fun, energetic discussion!

Healing Conversations with Mildred Lynn airs the FIRST SUNDAY of the month @ 10:30am PST. Enjoy the show!

Hi Everyone, Lynn McCallum returns to this weeks show with information about the new higher dimensional energies arriving for the evolution of the human collective around and after the June 21 Solstice, to further lift and balance our energies. Lynn is a lightworker whose awakening was only a few years ago but has been on a stellar path, guiding the collective and assisting Gaia on many levels. Welcome back Lynn!

....Join hosts Tammy Anahata, Amy Brimicombe and Chris Hales as we explore the deepest aspects of our experience in this amazing world!

So the burning question, one which we fail to ask ourselves at the time when it matters the most:

    "What do we REALLY want?"

Come join us as we candidly voice aloud ‘conversations with self’ and ponder questions such as:

Why we made certain things unattainable simply because we were too afraid to connect with our true desires? … and How do our conflicting conversations with SELF keep us out of alignment with what we truly want to experience? What is it that you are waiting for anyway? What happens when the inner world is at odds with the outer world? What is the missing elusive ingredient?

Join us weekly as we discuss, explore and uncover the genesis of our illustrious manifestations and creations!!

    in Religion

When I first met Lynn Littlejohn, it was after Rev Eddie Long was going through his ordeal (I'm not going to say it here, however if you're interested, google or bing it.  I thought she was his X wife, however she wasn't.  She was somebody else's ex wife.  She was on YOUTUBE.  You have to check out her channel, she has over a million views to her channel and more.  She has written a couple of books.  pastorsexwife.org tells the story.

If you want the true, this is where you get it.  She is open and honest - she's lived a spicy life and she is willing to share it.  If you don't like the truth but are willing to sneak and get it, COME 'ROUND HERE (Smokey Robinson) She tells it like it is, and she doesn't bite her tongue.  This is the way religion should be.  If you were to hear her show over and over (like if she only did one) you would get something valuable each time you listen, because PASTORSEXWIFE/LYNN LITTLEJOHN is like a hit record.  Every time you hear her, you want more.  347-205-9366 - Are you ready?

Healing Conversations with Mildred Lynn McDonald - Dealing with Dementia

    in Caregiving

"According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the total number of people with DEMENTIA worldwide in 2015 is estimated at 47.5 million. The total number of new cases of dementia each year worldwide is nearly 7.7 million, implying 1 new case every 4 seconds. The number of people with dementia is expected to increase to 75.6 million in 2030 and 135.5 million in 2050". Think about it. These are BIG numbers and most of us, in one way or another, will be impacted by dementia in our lifetime.

To help us to help us understand what these numbers mean to us and our loves ones on a community level, we have invited CATHERINE SHEPHERD, Cape Breton - Education and Outreach, Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia, to the table.

I first met Catherine about two months ago when my family was trying to deal with a loved one’s diagnosis of dementia. Quite honestly, we were afraid and looking for guidance and support. From the get go, Catherine stepped into the fire, met us where we were, and offered step-by-step guidance, knowledge and reassurance at a time when all three were in short supply.  I was very touched by this timely gift (for she was a gift!) and decided to dedicate this show to helping her share a message of hope, coping and perspective for those on a life altering journey called "dementia". Thank you Catherine for doing this beautiful work!

WEEKLY ROUND TABLE with HiC Luttmers, John  Carosella and Mildred Lynn: If you could go back in time, what advice would you give to your 20-year-old self in the areas of love, money, health, career and life? Get ready for a fun, energetic discussion!

    in Religion

Today is the last show for PASTORSEXWIFE -

I have learned a lot from Lynn Littlejohn.  She named herself THE PASTORS EX WIFE.  She has a website, pastorsexwife.org and a couple of books she has written.  She has really done a lot – many many videos on YOUTUBE and over a million people have seen those videos – probably a lot more.  She has opened a lot of eyes and widened quite a few minds.  She has shed some light on religious issues and taboos.  She has explored sexuality and relationships.  She is on TV.  She is the truth, as raw and edgy as it can be, and if you pay attention to her, if you’ve listened carefully she may have opened some new doors in YOUR life.  Pastor’s Ex Wife, pastorsexwife – you are going to be missed.  Good luck to you in your future endeavors and let it be known, anytime you want to call in on COOL CRITICS, because you’re a permanent member for life – just pick up the phone.  It’s on you.  Good Luck!

Lynn Tolliver jr. / GM/Founder – The Jay King Network.
