The Author's Talk Show with guest Michael R Collins (murder-mystery author)

    in Books

Michael R. Collins was born at a very young age in the wilds of southern Idaho.  After a few decades he finally got his fill of all the sagebrush and rattlesnakes he could eat and journeyed forth to the creative bosom of Austin, Texas.  Writing has always been tantamount to breathing, and he’s done a lot of both.  Harboring massive commitment issues, he tends to write across all genres.  Sticking mainly with dark fiction (to placate the evil monkeys in his head) his first published novel, Night Shall Overtake has been published by Black Bed Sheet Books.

When not writing he’s daydreaming about writing at work.  Or playing bass.  Or daydreaming about playing bass while writing.  Or broadcasting Saint Zero’s Headphone Bleed. You can catch it live every Sunday night at www.live365.com/stations/saintzero or just great continuous music anytime.  Previous episodes of the Live Bleed Thingy are here on the Headphone Bleed page.

Michael R Collins' 5-star reviewed murder-mystery novel, Night Shall Overtake, is the topic of this interview!

Birth of Mystery Babylon News Radio

    in History

To many, history might be dry and boring, yet if we have a burning desire to understand what is truth, then history becomes vibrant and alive.  History sheds light on our present  world and also gives understanding for the future.  It is through history that we find our roots, and has become the reason and object of why much of our history today has been throughly censored; so that our roots will be purposely obscured.  The day is approaching, perhaps, when the only historians will be amateurs who study history as self-help, who examine the past in order to make sense of the present and not be caught unprepared by the future.  "We have been taught lies. Reality is not at all what we perceive it to be.  Reality must be discerned at all costs if we are to be a part of the future.
