    August first is a special day to hundrends of children, oceans of friends, goo goubs of relatives and a host of neighbors and church folks who remember a lady who never forgot anyone.  Inez McClure, mother of ten children uncountable grand, great grand and great great great grand.  We share this tribute to you with love.  You raised us well.  We believe we have made you proud of each and every one of us.  You were with us through thick and thin to put it briefly and we truly thank you from the bottom of our hearts.  We all know you because from generation to generation we share your history.  Your favorite saying was and still is sho nuf.  Celebrate your heavenly spirit you are the only candel lit to still guide us.  Happy Birthday Mamal. from Dede, yonnie, ellis, marvin, roland,rudy, daryl,don, cheryl and all off spring.

    The President of the United States, the California Senate and the California State Assembly, the Center for Volunteer and Non-Profit Leadership have commended her innovative programs and methods. Mary Ann is also the first recipient of the Working Solutions Community Impact Award. Her work has been lauded by the media, including NPR and The Los Angeles Times. Mary Ann has a BA from Swarthmore College as well as a Masters of Divinity from Starr King School for Ministry.

    In addition to being a happy mother of two teens who became successful adults, Mary Ann, a former Mayor of Fairfax, Marin County, Is president of Five 4 Five which guides at-risk young people to successful adulthoods. She was Director of Girl Scouts Save the Bay serving over 54,000 girls and has also served as a Chaplain at Marin General Hospital where she counseled patients and their families.

    Special Guest:  Amana Melomé: Born in Germany, raised around the world, Amana Melome' is a Euro-Caribbean-American singer-songwriter.Both Amana’s mother and grandmother were professional singers and her father hailing from the Caribbean island of Aruba is still an active musician in the European scene.

    Amana recorded her debut album INDIGO RED as well as her sophmoric LP PHOENIX RISING with producer Saverio ‘Sage’ Principini in LA. After a US release with indie label Savana Records and a distribution deal thru the Whole Foods Markets her album was licensed in Europe with IRMA records.

    While promoting her CD in Italy she landed a lead role, playing herself, on the most popular sitcom on national TV: Un Medico In Famiglia.

    Live Your Music - Margaux Joy and Guest Diana Toma 11/11/15

    Diana Toma is an award winning Romanian visual artist currently teaching and creating in Atlanta, Georgia.  Her painting approach focuses on fast, free-flowing painting release.  Exhibiting in both Europe and continental USA, Diana has been engaging with the art community since 1995 participating in countless art projects, art camps and art-festivals, and showcasing her work in over sixty Group Exhibitions and Solo Art Shows.  Diana holds a Master Degree in Fine Arts from the prestigious Romanian University of Art and Design.

    In 2013 Diana was commissioned by United States Tennis Association to create an artwork for US Open Tennis Championships theme art, and her art was reproduced on a line of tees for US Open 2013.  In 2014 her work "Motherhood-ness" was published on the cover of "Contrapositions" magazine, and two of her artworks were selected and showcased on a 30ft billboard at Bartaco, Midtown Atlanta.  This year Diana became the grand prize winner of Michaels Springtime in Paris, a national contest with over 11,000 national submissions, prize that sent her on an all-expenses-paid art trip to Paris, France.  Diana was also invited to perform as the solo juror for Kudzu Art Center annual art show "Opened Juried Exhibition 2015."  Recently Diana was spotlighted on the National Arts Program website in the October newsletter issue, and won the third place award in the NAP professional artist category.

    The book of Luke on the Voice of Joy

    With the holidays fast approaching what better way to start out then to begin a study in the birth of Christ and all the feast that were prepared for his birth.  Thanksgiving is coming up fast and so let's give thanks by sharing the Word of God in our study of scripture.  Luke has a way of painting an awsome detailed picture of the happenings on this occasion.  Other scripture will be included so let's get our Bibles and  be in tune with the coming holidays.  Tell a friend and let them know about the Bible Study back to the book as we need to do at this time.  Thanks you for listening to the Voice of Joy and have a blessed week.     2015 Alzheimer's Awareness Month with Joy Keys

    It is estimated that as many as 5.1 million Americans may have Alzheimer's disease.

    Special guest: Charles J. Fuschillo was appointed chief executive officer of the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America in January 2014. Prior to that, he served eight terms as a New York state senator representing the 8th Senate District.
