Mountain West media days take place in Las Vegas on July 22 and 23, so to get everyone prepared we decided to preview the event. Not a ton of news comes out of media day so Matthew, Jeremy and Chris predict who the media will pick to win the Mountain and West divisions, plus the offensive and defensive players of the year.
Since no one from the staff can be at media days we go out of our way to pick who we would like to talk to the most from players and coaches. We give legitimate questions as well some off the all one's, too.

Jeremy and Chris are starting to preview and breakdown the Mountain West football season. We are starting with a big breakdown of how we think the league will finish with bowl projections, key players and early Mountain West title game participants.
This is early to do this but going forward we will be breaking down each team once a week up until the season begins, and then we will likely revisit these projections come late August.
We are back! Jeremy Mauss and Chris Hondros bring back the podcast on a regular basis (at least once a week) as we trek forward toward the 2014 college football season.
Monday night's show will recap spring football and we will be looking at the plethora of position battles at quarterback around the league. We will discuss UNLV's postseason ban and also the TV schedule that has been released for most of the Mountain West games.
Jeremy and Chris get together to recap the wild signing day that was as it pertains to the Mountain West. We will discuss who earned the best class, go over winners and losers, the surprise signings, team needs and of course our typical show of going off topic and randomness.
We don't claim to be experts in breaking down high school film or project who will be the next biggest star in the Mountain West, but we do know how to make sense of all of the information that was handed down on Wednesday.

On Sunday's show we will be talking all hoops with a look back at the weekend, specifically New Mexico vs. San Diego State. Plus, we look ahead to the Mountain West tournament.

The latest episode has us discussing the big picture of Mountain West football recruiting with Scout.com's Brandon Huffman. Huffman is their national recruiting analyst, but he has specialized out West for many years.

The Mountain West had their spring meetings recently and discussed many topics including expansion, the length of the college basketball conference seasons, competing with bigger conferences and extra money from the college football playoff.
We will also get into some transfer -- or really non-transfer news -- UNLV basketball getting to showcase recruits at the 18-U national team and of course other randomness since this is still a mostly college football show and it is May.
The NFL Draft is in the books and the Mountain West had 16 players drafted this year, and many, many others were signed as undrafted free agents. Jeremy and Chris will go over the picks and see how these now former Mountain West payers will make it in the NFL.
Plus, we will look into what players were steals, went too high, too low and the undrafted players who will make an impact despite not getting their name called during the draft.
In our latest show Jeremy and Chris bring on Kevin McGuire of College Football Talk to discuss what the likely changes in NCAA and how those changes will effect the Mountain West. Plus, we will have Kevin will give us his early thoughts on the Mountain West season, and of course randomness.
The NCAA is expected to bring forth changes in August and we will dive into how that will change college football with greater separation Plus, is Alabama's Nick Saban really pushing for power five vs. power five games only, and will this division four really go down.
Jeremy and Mouth discuss NFL Draft prospects from the Pac-12 and Mountain West. Jeremy has his Top 100 big board out. They breakdown Kyle Van Noy, Trent Murphy, Shaq Barrett, Josh Huff, and more.
Jeremy and Chris are back to preview the Colorado State Rams, and not to give away the show but Colorado State should be able to build upon last years success. There is an issue of two particular position groups that could make or break the Rams season in 2014.
Also, what happens if Colorado State is too good in the upcoming season, could they see head coach Jim McElwain roaming a different sideline in 2015?
Matthew Fairburn from SB Nation's Mocking the Draft joins the show on Sunday at 10 p.m. ET to go over the Mountain West prospects in the upcoming NFL Draft. We will try to figure out where Derek Carr will land since the quarterbacks have been all around of late, who will be the best prospect from the Mountain West in this draft and also go deep for some sleeper prospects, too.
