Testimony of Ex-Mormon Bishop Lee Baker

    in Christianity

Ex-Mormon Bishop Earl Erskine interviews former Mormon Bishop Lee Baker on his TV Program: Ex Mormon Files: Journeys from Mormonism to Jesus Christ. They talk about their experiences as Mormon Bishops in Hawaii.  Reasons why they left Mormonism include Joseph Smith's false Boasting: “I have more to boast of than ever any man had…A large majority of the whole have stood by me.  Neither Paul, John, Peter, nor Jesus ever did it. I boast that no man ever did such a work as I.…”—Joseph Smith, May 26, 1844, History of the Church, vol 6, pp. 408-409 and Smith's polygamy and polyandry - “For although a man may have many revelations, and have power to do many mighty works, yet if he boasts in his own strength, and sets at naught the counsels of God, and follows after the dictates of his own will and carnal desires, he must fall and incur the vengeance of a just God upon him.”—Doctrine and Covenants 3:4 For more information see: http://4mormon.org/why-did-joseph-smith-die-so-young/  Connect with us at: www.LeeBaker.4mormon.org

Joseph Smith once said that, "The Holy Ghost is yet a spiritual body and is waiting to take to himself a body, as the Savior did."[Joseph Smith, Encyclopedia of Joseph Smith's Teachings, edited by Larry E. Dahl and Donald Q. Cannon (Salt Lake City: Bookcraft, 1997)]

"The Holy Ghost is now in a state of probation which if he should perform in righteousness he may pass through the same or a similar course of things that the Son has." (Joseph Smith, The Words of Joseph Smith, p. 245; Sabbath address, Nauvoo, 27 August 1843. Reported by Franklin D. Richards.)

Our probation started before our birth. Some think that this statement of Joseph's meant that the HG was already upon the earth. But I know through personal revelation that the Holy Ghost is upon the earth now and is one of the two witnesses who will die in Jerusalam where the holy of holies is now upon the earth and lay in the streets for three days then be resurrected for all to see. When these two sons of Levi have offered their lives as a sacrifice to God the priesthood will be taken off the earth with the reminant who have accepted the Holy Ghost as the witness of god that he is... Then will the words of John the Baptist be fulfilled when he stated in the name if messiah this priesthood will not be taken off the earth until the sons if Levi offer an offering in righteousness. He is thesecond witness of the Father and an apostle of the Father and the son.

Wicked Mormon Says Spirit of Revelation Not Extant in Desert

    in Religion

Wicked Mormon Says Spirit of Revelation Not Extant in Desert
Modern "all is well in Zion" Mormon radio host says there is no spirit of revelation in deserts, dens, and caves of the earth! This was a statement from Paul that the prophets have had to wander in the deserts dens and caves of the earth. Joseph Smith said if any man teaches contrary to the Bible set him down as an imposter. Therefore an antichrist in sheep's clothing is exposed by the iron rod. "To the law and the testimony, if it be not according to these, is because there is no light in them." Isaiah 8: 20
    Show Notes:
TPJS. VOL. 5. pg.237 By faith; Hebrews 11: 38. President Joseph Smith read the 14th chapter of Ezekiel--said the Lord had declared by the Prophet, that the people should each one stand for himself, and depend on no man or men in that state of corruption of the Jewish church--that righteous persons could only deliver their own souls--applied it to the present state of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints--said if the people departed from the Lord, they must fall--that they were depending on the Prophet, hence were darkened in their minds, in consequence of neglecting the duties devolving upon themselves, envious towards the innocent, while they afflict the virtuous with their shafts of envy.   Brigham Young, "would you please repent of your false religion"   Isaiah 28: 1 Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine!   Joseph Smith and World Goverment.   Apostle of the One Mighty and Strong, Art Bulla.
