Monte is an acclaimed rock musician, guitarist and songwriter, who just released his second album, "Pain, Love & Destiny" on Oct. 3. Within its first week, the album hit #1 Pop Album, #10 Rock Album and #30 Top Albums on CDBaby, and broke the Top 200 on iTunes. which is quite a feat for a completely independent artist. It's an explosive, testosterone-fueled rock album chock full of electrifying and transcendent guitar solos, and lyrics offering up an ancient, surreal campfire tale of Faustian deals, death and rebirth. The album also features Kelle Rhoads (Randy's brother) on piano.   Monte has also been the live guitarist and a co-writer of Madonna's since 2001, the live guitarist and music director for Adam Lambert, and former member of Prong . He is also the #1 top-funded rock musician in the history of Kickstarter, having raised a staggering $65,500 from fans to finance the new album. Next year, he will even have his own special edition guitar being released by a major guitar brand.

After months on the road touring with Madonna, he headed back into the studio to record his next album The Power of Three with Flemming Rasmussen, who produced Metallica’s Master of Puppets. The album drops on January 21st, 2014 (pre-order here), under the Metal Blade Records label.

Monte has released two new singles off the album, "Before the Mourning Son" and "Dark Horse," and is garnering accolades from listeners and critics. This critic from Yell! is a new fan:  "Pittman has also played with Prong and he’s about to release his third full-length solo album, The Power of Three. Honestly, I’ve never heard of the guy, since I don’t usually pay attention to pop guitarists — who does, right? But now that I have heard of him and heard him, I’m going to start paying attention to him. This guy is worth your time."
