We are meeting with Scott Nichols, Director of Franchise Business Development for Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores.
The Outlet stores (Sears Outlet) are designed to provide customers with in-store and online access to purchase new, one-of-a-kind, out-of-carton, discontinued, obsolete, used, reconditioned, overstocked and scratched and dented products across a broad assortment of merchandise categories, including home appliances, apparel, mattresses, sporting goods, tools and lawn and garden equipment at prices that are significantly lower than manufacturers’ suggested list prices.
Sears Outlet is the oldest of the four store formats and was established in 1968. The newest format, Sears Home Appliance Showroom, was introduced in late 2007. The majority of its stores are Sears Hometown Stores, a format which grew from the legacy Sears catalog stores and celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2013.

Thomas Szasz died at 92 on September 8, 2012. With his death, many of us, not enough, are left with deep concern about his legacy and the continuing influence of his ideas. Here, following a biographical sketch, I discuss some of the myriad ways his ideas have directly or indirectly influenced my ongoing work as a psychologist. I hope that my experience will have a small positive effect in keeping alive and in play the profoundly important ideas of this great man.

Christopher Joel will be "In" The Thomas Loop Radio Show on WJJL-1440AM Niagara Falls/Buffalo, NY - a podcast will soon follow the live broadcast at around 1pm on 11/26 - on http://www.blogtalkradio.com/thomaslooptm-
Here is Chris's bio from his home page at www.christopherjoel.net - I've been performing throughout Western New York for over 3-1/2 years with solo and various musical projects. Aside from my solo acoustic shows, I currently perform with my acoustic duo 'THE CT SCAN' (Check out The CT Scan section here on my website) as well as playing drums in a new project called "007".
With my acoustic shows, I stay true to my motto "acoustic music...the way it's meant to be heard". You won't hear any extra music or noises unless it's me making them. In a recent video from one of my performances (in the multimedia section) you will hear someone say "Now that's a one man band". You also won't see a laptop or a music stand in front of me looking down at them; I learn words and music. As an entertainer, I always give 110% at every performance. I thrive on audience participation/interaction and they are the reason I get to do what I love doing.
Come to a show and you'll see...seeing is believing...
