It is indeed a tragedy in Moncton NB this week that has left wives without husbands, children without fathers, at the hand of Justin Bourque. Unfortunately, there was a lot of misinformation circulated the media, and even worse, was the ignorant comments being made through various social media venues such as Twitter and Face book. This week I will talk about some of the misinformation broadcast over the television networks by reporters who for whatever reason, chose to report false information about the events. Also, I will explain why we need to question even the so called experts that the media presents to us and how the media chooses such experts.

Carlan Gay and Audley Stephenson continue their post season coverage and welcome a couple of guards to the podcast who played key roles on their respective squads advancing to the second round. First off, Chris Matthews of the Halifax Rainmen stops by to chat his team's shocking upset over the Atlantic division leader and Chris' former team, the Saint John Mill Rats. They also welcome former London Lightning and current Island Storm player, Adrian Moss. The Storm are fresh off of their 4 game series victory of the Moncton Miracles and are a determined squad intent on completing their mission of returning back to the NBL Canada Finals and finishing the job by capturing the title!

My guest, 6 time cancer survivor, Deny Dallaire was born and raised in Moncton, New Brunswick & has a Bachelor of Science degree from l'Université de Moncton.
Deny has survived cancer six times and was given a year to live in 1990. Despite having bouts with cancer in '87, '88, '89, '90, '91 & 2004, Deny says cancer is the best thing that ever happened to him. His life experience with cancer has profoundly changed him for the better on all three levels: mind, body and spirit.
In 2010, Deny’s book: Many Shades of Green – Running Toward the Finish Line, One Cancer at a Time was published. He has been an invited guest speaker at several different forums and continues to write books. Lovingly, his wish is to help everyone achieve their own state of wellness.
