Our Behavior and Their Behavior
When we seriously look at forgiveness, we must take a hard look within ourselves, but we also must know where the enemy is and how the enemy attacks, in order to understand how to combat the persecution, or the battle that is before us. When we look within ourselves and truly seek God's eyes within our own lives, then something from within us becomes crystal clear that we must change our behavior in order to positively react to the persecution that is ravaging against us. Then and only then, can we really see how God looks at our spouse who we believe is the center of our problems. But, as we see them through God's eyes, we see them in a very different light...a light that shines down on their sin with great love and concern. We begin to care about what happens to them spiritually, which leads us into a Godly forgiveness. Join us as we look within ourselves and look within our spouse through God's eyes, so that forgiveness can be complete.

Shaping a New Behavior without Coercion
Thursday May 9, 2013 @1 pm (CST)
The Chef and I are getting "DOWN AND DIRTY" about BEHAVIORAL SHAPING. The technology of behavioral shaping has been around since the 1940’s and plenty of people know about “clicker” training and positive reinforcement training if you’re talking about pets and working animals, but when you start talking about shaping human behavior people say “WHOA”, you can’t do that.
I say it happens all the time. So if people are already influencing you and you are influencing others; why not do it ethically and deliberately?
Now for this radio show and for simplicity, we will keep this information geared for influencing yourself and/or your diet/exercise partner (and they know about it)
Any new behavior (diet, exercise or sport) before it becomes part of a system must learned, then integrated into first the context and then the whole system. Join us on the air just email us or call (818) 668-5406 Talk to you soon, Michael

May 24 ~ Charlotte View: Dealing with Your Child's BAD Behavior
Tune in to Charlotte View conversation with NC licensed mental health, Jeffrey LaForge, MSW, LCSW, who will talk about children behavioral disorders such as ADHD. Call (805) 830-8344
Short Link: http://tobtr.com/s/4721337
All kids misbehave some times. And some may have temporary behavior problems due to stress. For example, the birth of a sibling, a divorce, or a death in the family may cause a child to act out. Behavior disorders are more serious. They involve a pattern of hostile, aggressive, or disruptive behaviors for more than 6 months. The behavior is also not appropriate for the child's age.
Warning signs can include:
Harming or threatening themselves, other people or pets
Damaging or destroying property
Lying or stealing
Not doing well in school, skipping school
Early smoking, drinking or drug use
Early sexual activity
Frequent tantrums and arguments
Consistent hostility towards authority figures

Removing the Sport of Bullying Behavior
Over three quarters of children have either been victims of bullying or observers of such abuse, and 1 out of every 5 kids reports frequent bullying that makes their life miserable. These statistics are really scary, especially when it comes to recreational sports, competitive athletics and teams. Bullying occurs because the individual dishing out the behavior uses it to meet one of life's five basic needs: life, happiness, caring, control, or purpose. Bullying is harmful because, at the same time as it meets the bully's need for control, it deprives the victim of his or her need for happiness and control of their own life and situation.
Early intervention and working with athletes to be “good team players” can drastically help. Coaches must learn the difference between “fair play and foul play” and must do a better job to correct the power imbalance that takes place between the bully and the victim.
We can do more to curb and prevent bullying. Join the movement and conversation with Dr. Joel Haber to find out how you can recognize and deal with the effects of bullying in sport. We’re LIVE at 7pm on Wednesday May 22, 2013 at BEYONDtheCheers on blogtalkradio. Dial-in TOLL FREE 1-877-357-2448 in Canada and United States to ask a question, or email in advance.
