The NBA post-season has officially begun. Are there any potential upsets in the making? What's up with the NBA Draft Combine? Does it carry the same weight as the NFL Combine? How about the new MLB season? The controversies have already begun.
Join THE SPORTS RYDERS as we discuss the opening weekend of the NBA Playoffs as we explore who if anyone is primed to dethrone the 2X champs, also MLB is heating up and the cream is starting to rise,we'll explore if the big payroll teams investments will pay of. Come along for the RYDE on THE ULTIMATE SPORTS TALK EXPERIENCE!
The Inactives, Keith and Craig talk about how the NBA playoffs are heating up, discuss who won and who lost in the NFL draft, and what's going on in the MLB with injuries.
The NBA playoffs are set to start Saturday with some interesting match ups in both conferences. The Chicago Bulls and Brooklyn Nets will battle in the first round out East while the Clippers and Warriors go at it in the West. Needless to say, NBA fans should be in for a treat early on. The Heat decided to rest LeBron James and Chris Bosh and in doing so lost the number one seed to the Pacers. Is that a bad thing? Not necessarily.
On the ball diamond, the Milwaukee Brewers were winners of 9 in a row, which included sweeps of the Boston Red Sox and the Philadelphia Phillies. In the first year of instant replay, we have already seen some mistakes, and if it continues that way, it could be a long season with a bunch of manager ejections.
Brian and Joe will also discuss what college basketball players should return to college for another year, and which ones should go chase the paycheck. Also, today the NCAA created a proposal for unlimited snacks and meals for division I athletes....even walk ons. Guess you can call that one the Shabazz Napier effect!
