Ryan Singer is one of the best up-and-coming comedians on the circuit. In Rolling Stone magazine Marc Maron listed Singer as a comedian who "should be big."
Back in January I caught Ryan on tour opening for Maron in Raleigh and found him to be even better than anticipated. This guy could easily headline any club in the country.
On this episode, Ryan and I discuss his comedy background, life on the road, and a couple of crazy stories. Find out why I was so nervous about that Raliegh show. Hear Ryan's take on waking up in a comedy condo only to realize that Marc Maron and Elayne Boosler had been talking about you all night.
Finally, get a kick out of a couple guys exchanging CB radio stories. Yes, you heard me right. CB radio stories.

John's repertoire runs from Cole Porter to Coldplay. As a singer and classically trained pianist, John Jones has been entertaining crowds in the Midwest full-time since 2004. Whether augmented with arrangements of his 150+ self-produced backing tracks or simply playing and singing, his expressive vocals and dynamic piano work have led people to a few common opinions, expressed to John in conversations, emails, and social media posts; "John Jones is full of passion for what he does. It's hard to take your eyes off the energy of his performances. I've never seen so many people dancing in a piano bar."
In addition to his live performance work, John is an internationally-distributed songwriter. R&B/jazz vocalist Maysa Leak (of the British funk group Incognito) has recorded two of his songs for solo projects: "Honeybee" was featured on her 2010 album "A Woman in Love," and the ballad "Everything" appeared on her 2003 release "Out of the Blue."
