Valley has new energy starting with a coaching change last year. The Devils are young but they are hungry, they may still be a couple years away. The Delta has always been a tough place to visit. Wessam Al-Badry, has a concerns about human rights, particular when it comes down do women and children. He knows what it is like to be without food, clothes and shelter, memories from his childhood still haunts him today as a little boy growing up in a Saudi refugee camp in Nesbraka. Wessam doesn't just about the issues of poverty. With his photo camera, he documents the pain in a childs eyes who haven't had a meal to eat today or a child with no shoes on his feet.
After traveling to the Mississippi Delta with "Nurturing Our Roots Blog Talk Show" host Antoinette Harrell, he knew he had to help the people of the Delta, he collected and drove food, clothes, coats, shoes and other need items to the Mississippi Delta. Now he is on a mission to help the host collect book for a Library in Webb, Mississippi.

Big Jim Adam has appeared at the IBC Twice, one representing the Colorado Blues Society and most recently representing his new home, the Blues Society Of The Treasure Coast. He was awarded top honors at the 2012 Telluride Acoustic Blues Competition. His music is Gospel infused Blues and he can spin a tale brilliantly. His latest albums are the Blues-Roots Cajun Moon and the Blues-Gospel Needed Time.
The band Mississippi Fever hails from St. Louis and is made up of singer/guitarist Brent Barker, bassist Ted May and drummer Tom May. Their sophomore album, 300 Miles to Memphis contains 8 originals and two covers and includes some harp from Brandon Santini and keyboards from Rick Steff.
Couch Kid New Music brings back Sadie Johnson, a name you might know from Sad Sam Blues Jam, the band she and her sister formed and brought to the IBCs for the Youth Showcases a few years in a row. Sadie was signed to the Girls With Guitars Tour in Europe by Ruff Records and just released the newest GWG album with Eliana Cargnelutti and Heather Crosse.
