It’s a common misconception that feminism employs misandry. There are a number of places where this misconception comes from, but regardless of the sources, they all have one thing in common: They serve to derail feminist conversations and distract from important issues at hand. In this episode, we will discuss the misconception that “all feminists hate men,” and address why it’s a troublesome stereotype.
Based on his article 5 Reasons Why So Many People Believe Feminism Hates Men and Why They’re Not True, Sam Killermann will debunk this misconception and reconcile feminism as a gender-inclusive movement.
Tonight we have as our guest The Common Man from the Youtube channel The Common Man Media. Formerly known as Gogononstop, TCM has been a member of the MRA you tube community for years and has been one of the most energetic proponents of the rights of male students in our education system. Covering topics from misandry to lack of due process when it comes to sexual assault cases on campus (specifically the “dear colleague letter or April 4th directive) he has gained a reputation as an expert on the subject of what has become known as the War on Men and Boys in our education system.
We will be talking about the recent interview he secretly recorded with a Title IX Coordinator at Texas A&M featured on AVFM. We will also be talking about the crisis of men and boys in our education system in a broad sense so if you are interested in this very, very important subject please call in.

We will be taking time to find out exactly what feminism is, what it does, and where it applies. Also taking calls to see if there are any brothers being 'emasculated' by the reputed effort to emasculate men. If you are a #feminist, or know a feminst, chime in! Peace!
Last week, in Isla Vista, Elliot Rodger apparently had had enough. The remote, shy and almost painfully anti-social college student who was rejected by beautiful girls, while feeling as though he wasn't rich enough to live at an elite level with the rest of the offspring of the 1% went redline.
One of the social whiplashes that's occurred as a a result is that Rodger has been mostly, and wrongly associated with the men's rights movements. In a world that's becoming more and more fragmented, the deaths at Isla Vista have created more of a wedge between feminists and men in the men's rights movement.
In the first hour of the show, I'll be speaking with Dean Esmay, the Managing Editor for "A Voice For Men" a website and magazine that is focused on the rights of men, both moral and legal.
We'll explore what this latest iteration of the men's movement is all about, how it might have impacted the life of Elliot Rodger and if the upcomimg AVFM conference in Detroit will be ground zero for a war between the sexes.
Dean Esmay is a husband, a father, and a Men’s Human Rights Activist. A pioneer in the early blogosphere, his blog “Dean’s World” opened in early 2002 as a followup to an opinion site he started in the late 1990s called “Dangerous Thoughts.” Dean’s World was at one time ranked by several sources as one of the best and most influential weblogs in the world.
In hour number two, I'll get into more of the Elliot Rodger event with my special guest, Jay Weidner. Jay and I will look at the production values surrounding Elliot Rodger's video.
Take two blue pills and call me when you’re compliant.
Just a scant look between the lines and you can tell a one thing for certain about President Obama’s idea of “universal” healthcare. It’s anything but universal. In fact, it is saturated with sexually based privilege for women financed with a swift kick in the pants to men and boys.
But is that really anything new, or is it just more of the same in system that has long operated on the idea that “the preferred sex” is really the only one worth saving?
Tonight at 8:00 CST, U.S., in episode #19 of A Voice for Men Radio, Dr. Paul and JtO will be in the operating room with one more round of putting femmo-chivalrist dogma under the knife and dispensing a healthy dose of masculine counter-theory.
The chat room will be open and Dr. Keyster will be on call for your comments and opinions at
Tonight on AVFM News and Activism we have as our guest prisoners rights activist Deborah Kendrick. We will be discussing with her conditions men face in prisons, non violent criminals in prison and how society deals with ex cons. The U.S. has nearly one in every one hundred of its citizens in resident incarceration, the highest percentage in the world and 86% of those are male so prisoners rights are very much a men’s rights issue as well as a humanitarian one.
Join us tonight and ask Ms. Kendrick your questions. We would especially value a call in from someone who has spent time in the prison system and is willing to share their experiences with us.
The show airs live tonight, at 8:00 Central Time, US, which is 2:00 a.m. June 6, in London and 11:00 a.m. June 6 in Brisbane. If you have not yet requested membership in the Stickcam Room, you can do so through the link below. The call in number is 310-388-9709 .
On Tuesday, February 4th at 6:00pm Central time, we will have as our guest RK Hendrick, author of “How To Avoid ‘Getting Screwed’ When Getting Laid.” He will be talking to us about his book and pertinent topics when it comes to relationships and safeguarding yourself from the many pitfalls men face in today’s dating world.
Hendrick, a lawyer who has practiced in many different capacities, has a lifetime of experience dealing with legal issues in regards to divorce, false allegations, paternity fraud and many other legal troubles men face. He will be sharing his experience and valuable advice with you on this show so please join us.
Note that this show will be airing two hours before it’s normal time so please adjust your schedule to tune in at 6PM Central Time.
Tonight we have as our guest Attila Vinczer, Activism Coordinator at AVFM to talk about the arrest of his twelve year old son, Steven.
Steven is the target of what appears to be a witch hunt at his school. He has been accused of misconduct stemming from incidents in which no injury occurred and can only be construed as normal male child behavior. Many of the accusations appear to be completely fabricated.
Steven, then twelve, was arrested. Vinczer is filing a lawsuit against the school and the police in order to clear his son’s name.
Vinczer tells us the whole story here in video.
Please call in to discuss this tyrannical misuse of police ad school authority.
It has been an amazing year for AVFM and the Men’s Human Rights Movement in general. Between amazing news events like the Mary Kellett Disciplinary Hearings and Men’s Rights Edmonton’s fantastic anti feminist antics as well as AVFM’s swelling readership we can honestly say we have much to look back on as we look forward into the future.
Tonight we will be talking about the biggest Men’s Rights news items of 2013 and we will be opining about things to come in 2014. This is going to be a fun episode where listeners are invited to call in and give their own views of the past year’s news as well as their own thoughts about the future.
Please call in.
Join Nicholas Alahverdian on Think Tank at 6PM Eastern/11PM London live on New Year's Day. This week, our guest is Dr. Todd L. Bottom of DePaul University.
2013 was a huge year for the Men's Human Rights Movement (MHRM). We'll be talking with Dr. Bottom about where we've been and where we're going in 2014 as Men's Human Rights Activists.
Dr. Bottom returned to school after his divorce in early 2006 and completed his B.A. in psychology in 2007. In 2009 he entered graduate school at DePaul University in Chicago and began studying the outcomes of divorced fathers. Dr. Bottom earned his M.A. in psychology from DePaul in 2011 and will complete his Ph.D. in a few months.
He has done consulting work for organizations in Illinois and Pennsylvania, and presented his research at conferences in Illinois, Florida, Boston, New York, and Washington, D.C. In 2013 he published the only academic paper to report on research involving divorced fathers. He has published a half dozen articles in professional psychology journals.
