Welcome to "Happiness Index!" This Thursday, we continue our conversation on Mindful Practices: Journey to Joy. The holidays are here and anxiety is building. There are the haves and the have-nots and it appears that the gap between the rich and the poor are greater now than ever. The stress to bring joy to your family by buying more things is great! How does one apply mindful practices to alleviate the stress that come during these "Holy Days"? How can we truly experience the Spirit of the Holidays? Mindful Practices can offer a way. Through Mindful Practices we can celebrate the Holidays in the spirit of giving and sharing without the stress of shopping. The whole world is in the spirit of celebrating. But, have we forgotten what the season represent? It is a time of reconnecting to our values, remembering and recalling the love we feel for each other. It is a time for community building and family gatherings. It is a time to forget about what others have and our struggle with fear and competition. This is a time to let go of false happiness. Today we will explore Mindful Practices and journey to joy together. Thank you for listening to "Happiness Index" on BlogTalkRadio.com.

From a very early age, Ora Nadrich, a certified Life Coach with a thriving practice in Los Angeles, had always been a seeker of knowledge, with a particular interest in questioning how our thoughts work. Her lifelong journey towards this inner awareness eventually led to her becoming a Life Coach and developing her unique coaching method -- a simple yet effective questioning process.
A popular Huffington Post writer, Ora uses that platform to share her practical wisdom with a wider audience as a way to help even more people unleash the power they have to conquer whatever is holding them back from achieving their dreams. Her blogs are so popular that they have been re-published on several other websites. Ora also facilitates a popular Women’s Group, a Mindfulness Meditation Group and workshops on "Living a Mindful Life." Her first book, "Says Who?" will be published in 2015.
