On October 10th we celebrated the 20th anniversary of the historic Million Man March. Unlike the call in 1995 in which we confessed our irresponsible conduct among ourselves and our community, the 20th anniversary was a distinctive call for Justice, and a caveat of OR Else. That or else being that those who have held our minds captive for over 400 years must NOW let us go, or God himself will deal with America in similar ways as was outlined in the biblical story of Moses and the Children of Israel. Today we examine that story and the parallels between the biblical story and our situation.

Thank you for listening to It's My House
Twenty years ago, the National Mall in Washington, D.C. was covered by a sea of men for the Million Man March. The march, organized by the Minister Louis Farrakhan, was created as a call for the revitalization of the black communities and a time of atonement. On March 10, 2015, organizer Minister Louis Farrakhan, Pastor Jamal Bryant, and others will once again host a Million Man March on the National Mall. In the wake of recurring violence between young men and the law, the cry “Justice or Else” serves as the platform for this gathering.
Join us as we discuss the Million Man March, then and now. Has the black condition in our society improved, since the first march in 1995? Will the 2015 march galvanize change in our communities? Will the controversial march organizers overshadow the purpose and goals of the march? Will you be there?
Let’s talk about it. Call us, we'll be waiting.

Today on "It's My House" our primary topic will be "Million Man March Distinctions". The motto of the 20th anniversary was (Justice or Else)...........Did the people who participated in the march want "justice" or did they want "law" ?
There are not the same thing.
We shall discuss the "belief" in such a thing called a "Court Of Justice" vs the reality in a "Court Of Law".
Once we are clear on those distinctions we shall make people aware of the "Power Quadrant" and how to use it to get want you want when it comes to "social justice".

Twenty years after the first march the same problems persist so Brothers and Sisters were called to action once again. With unequal education, police brutality and unfair sentencing being the tip of the iceberg how do we as a people move to the next chapter when we are still on the same page?
Join Zaiyah and Uptown as they welcome Brother Farugh Maat and Brother Braheem Shabazz to a round table discussion on The Million Man March and where do we go from here.

Today on "It's My House" we shall pick back up from yesterday on reading our passages from the book "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill. The chapter we are reading is on SPECIALIZED KNOWELDGE.
We shall take that information and apply it to what we are calling the Million Man March Business Model. To participate in this march U do not need to march physically to Washington, DC.......all U need to do is DO SOMETHING proactive to make some type of "individual" or "social change" happen.

The Dr. Kim Show
“The Million Man March” How far have we come?
November 10, 2015
10:00 am – 11:00 am (MST)
CALLING ALL BLACK MEN….CALLING ALL HISPANIC MEN…CALLING ALL CAUCSIAN MEN….CALLING ALL ASIAN MEN…CALLING ALL MEN! The Dr. Kim Show is back. Twenty years ago, over one million people marched in Washington D.C., with the calling “A Million Man March”. All to bring awareness to the issues that still effect the Black man in America. Is the plight of the Black man important to America? Yes! America, as a nation is only as free as its most enslaved, and that would be the Black man. By all means, It is the time for Black men to rise up and unit their communities, their families, their businesses; as seen in many other racial groups like Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, etc. In 2015, the Million Man March was reborn and Washington D.C., filled with more than a million men and women of all races marching together. Ironically, as the march would be as a symbol of racial unity not racial separation. No press coverage, no media reports, no fighting or riots in the street.
In order to start this season out right…let’s get to the mission! This is not just a battle for African American men. Our world is transforming into a new empowered existence for human beings. In order for this transformation to occur differences amongst men must be settled, at least societal in the minds of the majority.
