Dog training and behavior expert and host, Julie Forbes, talks about working with reactive dogs effectively to decrease their reactivity and increase their confidence. Every dog is different, but there are some common themes that she has seen in over twelve years of working with dog behavior. Then Julie dives into the topic of leadership with your dog. What does it mean to be an authority to your dog? Are you supposed to be the "alpha"? Over 90% of Julie Forbes' private dog training clients have been women. Working with dogs brings up a lot around the topic of leaderhsip and women's relationship with their bodies. Tune in for this very informative and thought-provoking discussion.
