Michele Gutierrez is looking to get rebound from a loss, and even a score.
Gutierrez lost to Sarah Maloy at InvictaFC 1 by decision and has since chnaged training camps to get her her career back on track. She will take on an old rival in Felice Herrig at Bellator Dec. 14.
We'll talk to Gutierrez about her change of focus, the rivialry between her and Herrig, and looking forward to 2013.

The success of Michele Brody’s work thrives on the interaction with new communities and environments. She received her BA from Sarah Lawrence College in 1989 and her MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1994. She has utilized a background in the liberal and fiber arts to create site-specific, mixed-media installations, and works of public art generated by the history, culture, environment, nature and architecture of a wide range of venues. While living and working in France, Costa Rica, California, the Midwest, Germany, and her home of New York City, Brody’s art career has developed into a process of working in collaboration with each new community towards developing an interpretation of the sense of a place as an outsider looking in.She has had one person shows in the U.S. and internationally. Brody has also won distinguished awards and grants. During the spring of 2006 she completed three major permanent public art installations in New York and Texas. In 2007 she was commissioned to create a permanent lobby installation for the Jewish Community Center of Manhattan, and debuted the first interactive performance of Reflections in Tea at the 11th Annual D.U.M.B.O. Art Under the Bridge Festival, in Brooklyn, NY. In 2011 she was awarded Best 3-D Entry at the international competition Art Prize in Grand Rapids, MI. She is also in the process of preparing for an outdoor sculpture exhibition for Créations sur-le-champ Land Art at Mont-Saint Hilaire in Canada, and as the Costume designer for an international environmental art pageant in India for the Vaigai River Restoration Project.

Our first guest is set to make his World Series of Fighting debut against Strikeforce Vet Gesias Cavalcante. That’s right Tyson Griffin is kicking off the show and we are looking forward to talking to Tyson about his career, and the new multi-fight deal he just signed with the WSOF.
It’s been a while since our last guest was on the show or in the cage, but “The Diablita” is ready for both. Michele Gutierrez is set to take on Jordan Nicole Gaza on August 23rd in North Dakota, for Crowbar MMA. Michele has not been in the cage since April of 2012 at Invicta FC 1.

Michele entered comedy while still dealing with the struggles of motherhood, home schooling, and weight issues. She has performed at the Loony Bin in Oklahoma City, the Tulsa Comedy Club, Bogart's in Bartlesville and the Barrel of Laughs in Oak Lawn, Illinois, The Las Vegas Comedy Festival, and she was named a Branson All Star Comic.

Two compilations of these columns have been published as devotional books. Her work has appeared in numerous anthologies and national publications.
Her daily radio program, God, Me, and a Cup of Tea, aired on stations in Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Alabama for 10 years. She writes devotionals on assignment for Pathways to God and is a former newspaper feature writer, photographer, and editor.
Her debut novel, The Heart Remembers, has enjoyed 5-star reviews on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Goodreads. Her second novel, Before I Die, and her short story series, Fifth Wheel, are also published by Helping Hands Press.
An inspiring speaker, Michele is a member of Advanced Writers and Speakers Association and serves as pulpit supply for a small, local congregation, which she calls her "little flock."
Sherri has been writing since she was a small child. She was inspired by Ray Bradbury and Agatha Christie. She had always loved writing but has had to make a living in a varied number of ways. She worked as an actress, a travel agent and in several forms of customer service. Her passion though has always been writing. She loves and enjoys both reading and writing fan fiction.
