SNOFH with Aj-Poet. Speak Now Or Forever Hold 1/30/16 w/Nathan Pearson

    in Performing Arts

A Poet's Poet, Nathan Pearson shares.

Each time we air our goal is to promote interest in the creative arts community. The focus is to allow artists in the community get their recognition.  We know that radio has been for years at the forefront of communication and no matter how technology will send us in different directions, radio is here to stay.  Almost everyone has something to say and what better opportunity to say it then to bring it straight to radio and then to the world.

Aj-Poet a native of Westchester County in White Plains, NY to be exact is jumping in head first to share her family of performers, artist, writers with the community.  She hoping not only to reach individuals in the surrounding area but to launch a movement to preserve the beauty of the arts.  She especially want that person who we call the "closeted" artist to come out and shine.  No longer will we sing only in our bathroom or paint behind closed doors.  What is freeing with radio is that these talents can be communicated behind a microphone exposing many to what we are afraid to show.  However once revealed a star is born.

Aj-Poet will be interviewing, playing music, sharing taped and live interviews.  Discussing what folks are doing out there and also promoting their crafts.  From authors who are reachable in our communities to dancers and musicians about to do a show.  She will have entrepreneurs, supporters, activists, politicians, community leaders and active participants in our communities.

NORTH FLORIDA WRITER LIVE: IS THERE A REPUBLICAN WAR ON WOMEN?

    in Lifestyle

FINALLY, NORTH FLORIDA WRITER IS BACK ON THE AIR WITH A PROGRAM WEDNESDAY NIGHT.  OUR UPDATED AUDIO SUPPORT SHOULD MAKE THE SHOW SO MUCH BETTER. WE'LL TALK ABOUT A TOPIC THAT GETS MUCH DISCUSSION BUT, AT LEAST IN THIS BROADCASTER'S OPINION, IS AS PHONY AS CAN BE BUT, OF COURSE, EACH OF US IS FREE TO DECIDE FOR OURSELVES.

REMEMBER IN EARLY 2012 WHEN GEORGE STEPHANOPOULIS ASKED MITT ROMNEY IF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY WANTED TO MAKE THE SALE OF CONTRACEPTIVES ILLEGAL?  AT THE TIME IT SEEMED TO BE VERY STRANGE TO INTERJECT THIS SUBJECT INTO A DEBATE OF SUBSTANCE, BUT LATER, AS WE REMEMBERED STEPHANOPOULIS' CLOSE TIES TO HILLARY CLINTON, IT MADE MORE SENSE.  AND AS WE'VE SEEN OVER TIME, HILLARY HAS COME TO THE FOREFRONT ON THIS PHONY ISSUE BY CLAIMING TO BE THE ONE CANDIDATE SUPPORTING WOMEN WITH A RECORD TO BACK IT UP.  AND SHE USED IT AGAINST DONALD TRUMP IN RECENT TIMES BUT, BINGO, THE TRUMPSTER THREW IT RIGHT BACK IN HER FACE.  HE BASICALLY ASKED HOW SHE COULD BE THE WOMEN'S CANDIDATE WHEN SHE DID ALL IN HER POWER TO DESTROY THE VERY WOMEN WHO HAD ACCUSED HER HUSBAND OF SEXUAL ABUSE WITH EVIDENCE TO BACK IT UP.

SO IS THERE REALLY A WAR GOING ON AGAINST WOMEN AND, IF SO, WHO IS LEADING IT AND WHY?  AND KEEP IN MIND THERE ARE MANY THINGS GOING ON TODAY THAT ARE OF GREAT THREAT TO WOMEN AND THE MOST CRITICAL RIGHT NOW IS THE IMPORT OF SUPPOSED "REFUGEES" WHO DO NOT ACCEPT WESTERN CULTURE AND HAVE NO RESPECT FOR WOMEN.  ONE ONLY NEED LOOK AT EUROPE TO SEE THE POSSIBLE HORRORS THAT COULD BE COMING TO AMERICA SOON. AND WHO IS PUSHING THIS PROGRAM AND WHY?

THERE'S MUCH TO TALK ABOUT AND WE'LL COVER AS MUCH AS WE CAN ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT'S NORTH FLORIDA WRITER LIVE. WE'RE READY TO GO WITH AN IMPROVED AUDIO SYSTEM AND CAN'T WAIT TO GET STARTED. HOPE YOU'LL JOIN US AT 7PM EST.

NORTH FLORIDA WRITER LIVE TONIGHT: 2016 - WILL THE "REAL AMERICA" COME BACK?

    in Lifestyle

NORTH FLORIDA WRITER LIVE WILL OPEN IT'S POLITICAL COMMENTARY FOR 2016 WITH TONIGHT'S SHOW.  WHILE MUCH OF OUR FOCUS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR WILL BE ON MY FAITH, MY LOVE OF ANIMALS AND NATURE, AND OTHER GENERAL INTEREST TOPICS, NOTHING IMPACTS US MORE THAT WHAT THE POLITICIANS DO TO US IN THEIR COCOON KNOWN AS WASHINGTON, DC.  NEVER HAS IT BEEN MORE OBVIOUS THAT WE, THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, HAVE BEEN FORGOTTEN BY OUR ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES IN THEIR QUEST FOR FORTUNE AND FAME.

THE NEW YEAR HAS COME AND AMERICA IS BURDENED WITH PROBLEMS, MOST OF WHICH HAVE BEEN MADE ONLY WORSE BY A GOVERNMENT BUREAUCRACY THAT SOMETIMES SEEMINGLY ANSWERS TO NO ONE.  WE CAN'T BLAME THE ENTIRE MESS ON A DISENGAGED AND IDEOLOGICAL PRESIDENT, FOR IT TAKES MANY TO DO THE THINGS THAT ARE FUNDAMENTALLY CHANGING AMERICA INTO A THIRD WORLD STATE.  FREEDOM OF RELIGION AND SPEECH ARE ABUSED, THE PRESIDENT TRIES TO PICK WINNERS AND LOSERS WHILE ALLOWING CHAOS AND TREACHERY TO RUN RAMPANT. ANARCHISTS ARE ALLOWED TO SPOUT VENOM WHILE GOOD AMERICAN CITIZENS ARE EXPECTED TO FOREGO THE TRUTH UNDER THE NEW RELIGION OF POLITICAL CORRECTNESS.  IT'S 2016 AND WE ARE NOW AT THE BREAKING POINT: EITHER THE COUNTRY CHOOSES FREEDOM AND INIDIVIDUAL INITIATIVE OR WHAT MAKES AMERICA GREAT WILL BE DEAD. AND WHEN WE TALK OF THESE THINGS, REMEMBER, IT'S NOT A REPUBLICAN OR A DEMOCRATIC ISSUE BY PARTY, IT'S AN AMERICAN ISSUE. IT TRANSCENDS POLITICAL AFFILIATION SINCE AT HIGH LEVELS OF BOTH PARTIES PERSONAL POWER AND WEALTH HAVE BECOME THE CENTERPOST OF WHAT THEY TRY TO DO TO US.

I HOPE YOU'LL JOIN US TONIGHT AS WE DISCUSS WHAT 2016 HOLDS FOR US AND WHAT IT MEANS AND HOW WE CAN IMPACT THE NATION THIS YEAR.  WE'LL DISCUSS TAXES, NATIONAL DEFENSE AND SECURITY, IMMIGRATION, COMMON CORE, GUN CONTROL, GLOBAL WARMING, HEALTHCARE AND AS MUCH MORE AS TIME WILL ALLOW. BE THERE.

NORTH FLORIDA WRITER LIVE: ARE THE RICH ALWAYS RICHER?

    in Lifestyle

We all know the old saying, "The rich get richer and the poor get poorer" and many just take it for granted.   After all, we are bombarded constantly with politicians talking about the greed of the rich and how they need to pay their fair share.  But, of course, what is sometimes true is often not true; it depends entirely on the circumstances and the individual.  Any maybe, just maybe, the problem is really just how do we measure richness.

Being that we are in the Advent season anticipating the approach of Christmas, now is a good time to discuss what constitutes being rich.  We need to do so at this time of year since what we believe in this matter plays such a dramatic part of our Christian faith.

The Reverend Adrian Rogers offers some very good advice in this area and his teachings will form the basis of tonight's North Florida Writer Live programming.  Since it's Christmastime, the show will be devoted all month long to Christian values, our belief in the risen Christ and our longing for His return to save a troubled world.  Rev. Rogers, who passed away ten years ago, was an eloquent spokesman for Christian values and living under the purview of the Holy Bible.  And even though he is no longer with us, his messages can still be heard frequently today on the Bible Broadcasting Network (BBNRadio.com).

Our show will consist of a short scripture reading, wonderful seasonal music, a message based on some of the words of a great preacher and teacher, and prayer.  We will also be using that wonderful song by Becky Kelley, Where's the Line to See Jesus? as our theme for the entire month.

Won't you join us?  We'll be live at 9:30 on Wednesday night, afterwards available on demand 24/7.
