Peppermint is one of the oldest — and most highly regarded — herbs, and has been used for thousands of years. It is popular in countless forms, frequently used in toothpaste and chewing gum, for oral health. Peppermint also helps to alleviate occasional stomach discomfort and promotes healthy respiratory function and clear breathing. 15 mL bottle.
About peppermint oil:
The Mentha piperita plant is actually a hybrid of watermint and spearmint, and was first described by Carl Linneaus, in 1753.
Peppermint oil was used by the ancient Egyptians and Romans, as well as many other groups, throughout history. Today, it is very widely used in foods, candies, gums, dental products and cosmetics. In fact, it may well be one of the most readily recognizable scents and flavors.
The oil is distilled from the whole Mentha piperita plant, and yields an oil with a minty, hot, herbaceous aroma, high in chemical compound menthol. This high menthol content, found in the doTERRA's peppermint essential oil, distinguishes the best quality peppermint from other products.
There are more than 30 different compounds in pure peppermint oil, each in varying amounts, creating a synergistic masterpiece of biological activity.

The beer so strong they don’t even call it beer — they call it liquor. The brew from the bad part of town, the staple of gangstas and punk rockers, barrios and trailer parks. Strong, cheap and raw. Served up in a big bottle that hangs in your hand like a blackjack. Named after large man-killing animals and high-powered firearms. Yuppies say it tastes like poison, experienced users know it dishes out mule-kick hangovers. On this episode we turn our front street spotlight on Malt Liquor.
Also on the episode, research say its presence in cigarettes up the addictive ante, and stats show it's target is a select percentage of the population. It tends to be somewhat of a partner in crime with malt liquor. Joining malt liquor on this episode's Frontstreet is menthol cigarettes. Real talk in real time..The GeoGee Experience.

It’s that time of year again- cold and flu season. People are lining up for their flu shots, trusting in vaccines to prevent them from getting sick. Thousands of people visit their doctor’s office or outpatient clinic, missing time from work and school. Still more will walk the isles of the local pharmacy like semi-conscious zombies, seeking symptom relief through over-the-counter (OTC) pills, nasal sprays, syrups, cough drops, and anything with the word “MENTHOL” blasted all over it.
Consider, however, that:
Most of the OTC cold and flu medications don’t actually provide relief.
OTC cold and flu medications can damage the liver.
Antibiotics, often prescribed inappropriately, do nothing for a viral infection.
The “flu shot” is based on guesswork as to which flu strain may be the predominant strain, and that guess has been wrong multiple times.
The “flu shot” does nothing to help the common cold.
