Surrounding yourself with like-minded people may be comforting, it might even seem like a good idea, but it’s not the stuff of great leadership. The best leaders are not only capable of effectively leading those who hold differing opinions and perspectives – they thrive on it.
Join the Innovative Black Men as they discuss "Follow the Leader?" How well you do when leading those not inclined to follow.

This is another LOD episode hosted by John FaceCrook Funches, Tee-jay, Wan LOD Wan, and Boosie on the subject of Facebook groups that copy other groups, and how in these rank groups eople are followers. As of late the Facebook group LOD has been copied and the GFC group has added an additional group titled ‘GFC Seattle’ in hopes to expand their group into a franchise off the ranking fame of Face-crook, Tee-jay and the rest of the original LOD. Topper Hill a LOD co-founder of the original LO3D in an angry response has created a counter knock off LOD group since his ‘Bad Guy’ movement has been a epic fail. His disapproval stems erroneously from the add on of Boosie, but that holds no truth. In reality he is trying to be accepted back into the dLg, AAN, and FTF fold, and to do that he must prove himself by trying to discredit LOD, in Particular FaceCrook. Join us as we discuss this and how followers just go with perpetuated lies to fit in and go with the fallacy of the bandwagon. This will be a two part event.

One of my fondest memories with my father was standing on a beach in Jamaica a week before I was getting married. He and I witnessed a Jamaican headed out into the water with a spear in hand to catch fresh fish.
I can still hear my dad say, “Watch this son!” I replied, “Here you go with this wildlife stuff, mannn.” As we’re standing there drinking a Red Stripe, an hour later the patient native returned from the water with fish in hand.
My dad was very excited as the guy placed the fish onto the hot grill. At that point, I knew my dad had set this entire moment up.
He and I shared fresh grilled fish from the sea with the head of the fish still attached.
The moral of the story: Big Wheel taught me that I should go out and get that fish no matter how far out it may appear. Be EPIC and know when we acquire patience in life, everything we desire will appear.

Our radio show is more than just making self-proclamations of being "real" men, it's a state of mind and a way of life. First and foremost, we do not hate ladies. But we cant stand the 98% of women out there who feel entitled for free drinks and dinners. Although we are brutally honest and unyielding in our views on soft males, single mothers, and mad black women, we do not promote hating or completely disrespecting women. However, we DO hate and disrespect is the never-ending BS that too many men have to go through on a daily basis when dealing with most women and society. In other words, we have no problem expressing absolute contempt towards any irrational, disrespectful, and/or unrealistic behavior or attitude that is normally portrayed by women. We are feverishly working to put an end to all of that.
Tonight we will explore the intense attraction that an ever growing number of Black Men have in groups that the so called mainstream population consider somewhat radical.
We are speaking of groups like the Black Muslims, the Hebrew Israelites, the Nuwabians as well as many other groups that either stand on a particular political or spiritual base that deals specifically with the Black community and their solutions to the problems and special needs therein.
Are these groups bad for Black Men or are they filling an overlooked need that the American society and institutions have failed to overlook?
Is there a danger to the fiery doctrine and unpopular views that are expressed that appear to be in direct opposition into what Black Men are taught coming up in a system that has thus far failed to address our issues completely?
Is there a potential for some followers to take these various doctrines taught under the tutelage of these Black movement group leaders out of context and into some fanatical mentality that will eventually bring them into breaking the law or unfortunately hurting someone who disagrees?
Pastor Damon will go deep tonight into a topic that will pull back the shroud of mystery from these groups and take a fair and balanced look at an ever growing movement that has most pastors and clergy scratching their heads in disbelief as they try to figure out what they have failed in a place that once once exclusively theirs.
