We will be talking this week about personal experiences and the paranormal. What have you experienced? Was it negative in nature? Have you experienced anything demonic and how did you deal with it. Have you experienced a UFO or alien encounter. We will also be talking myths and local legends. We hope to hear from the skeptics, believers and investigators. We will also be talking about our upcoming events. We hope to see you all there to help support paranormal unity and help support our local communities. With this episode of Power Up Living, we’re introducing a new quarterly segment called, “Power Up Living Personified.” Here to help host Kelly Galea kick this series off is one of the most motivated and inspirational women she knows, her friend, Christine Payne.
Christine’s is a story of rising above, and as she says, going from humble to happy. Tune in as this “ordinary person living an extraordinary life” shares hardships faced, lessons revealed, tough decisions made, and how she stays focused and energized (especially on bad days!).
About Our Guest
Wife, mother and three-time Ironman participant Christine Payne courageously left a 25+ year insurance career to pursue her interests and passions. During the day, she’s a sales person at Orange Cycle, Central Florida’s largest bike shop. Early mornings and Sundays, you’ll inevitably find her pushing herself to extremes for the joy of it or because she’s training for a marathon, triathlon, or mountain bike race. Christine’s energy is uplifting and contagious -- if we’re lucky you’ll also discover why certain friends affectionately refer to her as “El Diablo.”

Welcome to the Coach Cafe, where you can get your weekly cup of inspiration with your hosts, certified law of attraction life coaches, Estra Roell and Kathleen Martin.
This week Estra and Kathleen welcome Melissa Carroll. Melissa is a writer and yoga instructor who believes in the power of being present. Based in Tampa, she guides more than 200 students every week at the largest yoga class in Florida. Melissa also helps run the teacher training programs at The Yoga Loft, leads retreats all over the world, and teaches creative writing at the University of Tampa. Melissa is the author of the chapbook The Karma Machine, and her work has appeared in many literary journals and magazines.
Melissa will be speaking with us about her new anthology, Going Om: Real-Life Stories On and Off the Yoga Mat. Unlike books on yoga that provide instruction on technique, Going Om: Real-Life Stories On and Off the Yoga Mat is a unique collection of never-before-seen personal narratives from celebrated authors. For example, Ira Sukrungruang shares his heartbreaking struggle as a 375 pound yoga student discovering self-worth on his mat; Gloria Munoz explores the practice of stillness with lyrical elegance in the midst of her busy mind; Neal Pollack’s signature sarcasm leads to surprising turns at yoga class with his dad; Elizabeth Kadetsky uses yogic wisdom while coping with her mother’s devastating Alzheimer’s.
Come explore with us the peace and presence that is found through the practice of yoga and how it enhances your everyday life.

Valentine Payne Personal trainer
What started out at age 16, with a couple of friends at a local “backyard” gym in Barbados quickly developed into a life-time PASSION. Through trial and error, continued training, and better eating, Valentine started to feel better overall and it wasn’t long until this newly discovered passion became fun. Valentine came to Canada in 1976 and watched his first bodybuilding show in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1983. Valentine entered his first bodybuilding competition one year later in 1984 where he placed 3rd in the middleweight category for Mr. Manitoba.
Throughout my life, I have read, experienced, and spoken to many people about health and fitness. Each story, each trial, and each triumph have all had an impact on me both personally and professionally, yet one of my top motivators for my achievements and continued success is the well-known health and fitness guru, Jack LaLanne. LaLanne is an American fitness, exercise, and nutritional expert, celebrity, lecturer, and motivational speaker who is widely referred to as “The Godfather of Fitness”. LaLanne gained worldwide recognition for his success as a chiropractor and bodybuilder and for his phenomenal acts of strength and endurance. Even after his passing in 2011, Jack LaLanne continues to inspire me.
“Anything in life is possible and YOU can make it happen.” – Jack LaLanne
