In our fast-paced society, we often find ourselves rushing through our daily routine, rarely stopping to think. Briefly put, meditation is stopping to think!
It is concentrated thinking about a particular subject for a period of time. Life’s demands typically force us to do more than one thing at a time, to multitask. It’s great if you can juggle several thoughts at the same time. But you can’t get the most out of your reasoning power, your creative ability—or your ability to relax—if you never concentrate deeply on just one topic. Meditating requires us to put other thoughts aside for a while and to focus on one important subject. As a student of Meditation I will discuss what I have learned.

Consuming foods high in fiber with life-giving properties such as: cooked beans, dates, figs, whole grains, apples, bananas, black berries, blue berries, cherries, brussel sprouts, carrots, grapefruits and salads that have green leafy vegetables are a great source of fiber enriched nutrients.
Let's talk about carbohydrates one of the major foods that are destroying the human body. These foods may include, but or not limited to: breads, bagels, rice, pasta, potatoe, ice cream, chocolate, pie, cookies, crackers, cake, danish, fruit, fruit juice, potatoe chips, pretzels, & popcorn. I think using moderation and portion sizes are of great significance for those seeking more of a transitional diet which will be covered in an upcoming show.
